Paulie Malignaggi had it 116-112 to Ward.

I remember in the 6th round the idiot praising Ward when Kovalev was clearly winning the round. And some folk believe this clown is an authority on boxing.....

 

Usually Paulie is pretty smart and knowledgeable about boxing, but here i have to strongly disagree with him.

 

I value his judgement of a fight way above yours...

Everyone on Sky seemed to prefer Ward from the start, it was weird. It was almost that after the KD that they went into the old "root for the underdog" mentality and were seeing things that were not there.

Sky in UK clearly wanted Ward to win, for whatever reason. Saying that, on the flip side, Lederman and fat Dan's scorecards were ridiculous too, favouring Kovalev.

I think they just go along with the old chestnut that Ward is some master boxer when in reality he isn't. "Just look how Ward's chin masterfully takes that Kovalev right hand."

AL Bernstein called this a bad decision and value his views above yours and 95% of the posters here.

I think it has something to do with the fact Ward schooled their man Froch, so they needed to portray Ward as someone who was doing the exact same to Kovalev, when he wasn't.

 

But you sound upset. Are you ok?
