I am a big Malignaggi fan...he won't be able to do what he did with Senchenko, with a Alexander type fighter....I wanna see him with the Berto Ortiz LOSER..I still think he'd lose to that guy...Khan sort of exposed him, as much as I hate to admit it..I will....

The loser of Berto-Ortiz would KO Paulie in 5 or less! :deal

First of all, Paulie being my second fav active fighter, this win is HUGE to me.

Malignaggi will not be able to mimic his success with Senchenko on the other top 147 guys though. Although Senchenko was deservedly higher ranked than guys like Jones or Alexander, there is no doubt in my mind that Paulie would lose to them relatively decisively.

Both would beat him, but they aren't knocking him out. :nono

Paulie does better with Berto than he does Ortiz IMO, because Berto is flat footed, Ortiz is not. Berto is still too big and too fast for PM.

I already said Alexander was stronger...Is Paulie more skilled and technically sound compared to Devon? You didn't answer my oringinal question.

Paulie is better all around technically than Devon is, but Alexander has a longer, faster jab which would be key. He also moves, as opposed to Senchenko who plods.

    I'm a realist, but I had Paulie beating Ortiz...Victor sucks--always has...

No they're about the same when it comes to technical ability. Factor in the weight and the difference in power and it will be an easy win for Alexander! I'll leave this board for 3 months if Paulie beats Alexander!

Did you pick Senchenko against Paulie? Yes or No?...Alexander is a natural brawler, tailor made for Malignaggi...

Like I said, I will be pretty shocked if Alexander grows some balls to go NY...

Paulie has better footwork and speed--he's slicker then Devon...

Actually in Rummy's Challenge thread.. I picked Paulie by SD! To be honest, it didn't supise me that Paulie won. The KO did suprise me! :good

I can see Paulie Mayweather happening early next year as a comeback fight for floyd..

imo Paulie should fight Judah.. imo that's the only lucrative big name he can beat... Don't see him beating Alexander, Ortiz, Berto etc..

I turned into a Paulie fan over night. Wish him all the best. He's far from featherfisted at 147.
