in todays game , you need power.

Pep got away because his generation was not emphasizing in power.

Paulie Malignaggi will be fighting 10-12 rounds per fight. If he only had a devestating punch, he could have short fights and have a longer boxing career. Sooner or later, the fighter will have to upgrade his skills. Paulie Malignaggi getting power will make him a prime boxer.

You don't need power to be great. Some fans think if you don't have Power and KO every1 the fighter must suck. Speed, footwork, and defense can make you a great boxer. Power is not everything in boxing.

I'm saying power is only part of being a great boxer today. You need lots of skill, speed, stamina, footwork and power to beat different types of opponents today. Magic Man has what it takes to get a power game. Paulie can do it.

Paulie vs. Ngdou was a close fight. Good fight. He had to rally from behind to win the boxing judges decision. Lets see how he does in his next fight. He has to convince the fans that he belongs with the very best.

I agree what you said. I think he will develop a little power in the future. Paulie is still young. I think some fans think to much about power and also if a fighter don't have it the fighter must be a boring or shitty fighters. Skill can beat power and Paulie is showing it.

Maybe but Hatton can just as easily lose to Paulie also. This is not an easy fight for Hatton. He has a lot of trouble with boxers and Paulie has the skills to make him look slow and old.

will see. I know he's only considered good, maybe he's a late bloomer in the process being great.

On what grounds? He lost the biggest fight he was in. and many thought he lost his last fight.

If you struggle to put a dent in average contenders you will struggle to become an ATG.

Both Hatton and Witter beat him.
