You don't buy it, but Oscar did... That's why he had Canlo vacate.

Trump and Putin campaigned against Macron, Trump and Putin's candidate was Le Page, a Russian puppet! However, since this is the boxing forum, I will say that El Pollo's best punch is his wing punch, his target will be Golovkin's testicles, he will land his wing punch, or his pecker punch to Golovkin's testicles, then Tony Weeks will stop the fight for him, Oscar will see to that, the judges will be Byrd, Byrd and Byrd, Bob Bennett will be El Pollo's cheer leader! Bob wants El Pollo to win, anything for El Pollo!

By the way, Trump had 6 deferments! Also went bankrupt 6 times! Appears to have committed treason................ I used to post in the Lounge, went there...............confusing..............is it a completely different forum now? Do you have to have a different password? Etc.? What's the easiest way to get there, plus, the writing is so small.................whatever, that is the place to talk politics..............anyone have an answer? I miss the Lounge.................to keep on subject, Trump used to have the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, went bankrupt, but there was BOXING there back then................

Gennady was not clearly winning on points. Canelo was outboxing him round after round, making him miss and landing the better punches. Your statement about what you hope G does in the rematch (only throwing jabs) is exactly why he didn't win the first fight clearly. You're saying you want Gennady to only throw jabs in the rematch because he got hit too much in the first fight and you're scared that if he is too aggressive in the rematch he could get hurt due to Canelo's superior counter punching.

You're right that one of the reasons why Canelo arguably won the first fight is because Gennady didn't defend well and got rocked too many times. Quite simply, G gave Canelo and his fans reasons to argue Canelo won by the way Gennady fought, G was not able to land big punches on Canelo and get Canelo in trouble like his fans predicted, and as a result we saw Canelo outbox him, make him miss and land the more eye catching hard punches.

It's telling that you now hope G's even less aggressive in the rematch. It just shows how close the first fight was, how well Canelo did, which you're unable to admit. You're obviously very worried about what you saw Canelo do to Triple G in the first fight and as a result you want G to fight the 2nd fight by only throws jabs. Because you know if G is too aggressive, it's going to allow Canelo to counter him even more effectively than he was in the first fight, which could very well cause G lose the rematch more decisively than he lost the first fight.

Those days were misteriously over the day he started fighting capable opponents, and the next Dominic Wade he fights will make him look like a destroyer once more

Prime isn't based on age , its based on how many fights and how many wars you've been in. Guys were finished by 36 and other guys came into their prime at 35-36.

Vitali Klitschko said he was better in his late 30's than he was in his 20's

    http://www.espn.com/sports/boxing/columns/story?columnist=rafael_dan&id=5687140

Golovkin hasn't had anywhere close to the kind of career that would make a guy past prime at age 34. I say 34 because that's apparently when he became past prime.
Kovalev is 34 now.. How come nobody is saying he's past prime? I just saw him annihilate Shabransky. Should we bet against him in his upcoming fight with Igor ?

The reality is GGG was made look slow because the two top level opponents he faced were faster than him. 3 if you count WW Brook. He is and always was painfully slow. Thats why Brook , Jacobs and Canelo were able to beat him to the punch and make him look 'past prime'.
20's GGG would look and perform the same. I saw him get his bonce peppered off him by a 154 southpaw journeyman.
Pulling out the past prime excuse is just a handy excuse to justify a poor performance or a loss. GGGs issue was the competition got better which made him look worse than the GGG who was blowing through one dimensional soup cans.
You can easily be prime at 35 in this era with the type of fluff record Golovkin has :polutxoso::smile:

You guys shouldn't be surpised. GGG for the most part is technical pressure fighter. Just like a Tyson, Duran, Chavez, etc. Aggressive fighters who at their peaks, were defensively responsible.
If you're just gonna rush in, you will either be completely outboxed or koed, especially against skilled boxers like an Alvaez.
