Paulie Malignaggi, one of boxings good guys

    What do you guys think of paulie?

    I met him before Haye vs klitschko and he's one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet, most times you meet boxers and they are polite and that but you can tell they are just going through the motions, but not paulie, he loves interacting with the fans and talking boxing, he talked to us for almost 20 minutes and to be honest I wish we had asked him to come out on the town with us because I reckon he would have come!

    He's great doing work at fights too like commentary and analysis

    I think when he retires someone should put him on tv over here, he'd be great on ringside or a show like that

    On twitter he comes across as being genuine and really enjoy talking to the fans and replys to everyone if he's online. Have only heard good things about him for people who have met him

    Big fan of his to be honest. I love the way he has 0 power but still gets in the ring and trys to compete with the likes of Cotto, Khan, Hatton etc he doesnt duck anyone and when hes not trying to promote a fight he talks a lot of sense.
    Really pleased hes had a few decent wins of late and managed to grab a belt. Great fighter he deserves a few pay days. I just wish he could grab a big win over someone.

    Never liked or thought much of him at first, but now it's clear he's a great, stand-up guy. He's matured a lot. Very intelligent and well-spoken. He'd make a great pundit or commentator.

    He's a great lad, even though he clogs my twitter timeline up for about 2 hours a day replying to everyone. Which is a nice thing to do though.

    I've been thinking for ages that Ringsides 'Satellite Linkup' view from the states with Dan Raphael should be with Pauile instead just as knowledgeable and a million times more likeable and engaging.

    He's always been interesting to listen to. Apart from when he's talked about Pacquiao. I hold a grudge against him for that, but I have to admit he seems like a cool guy most of the time.

    Top guy. Grown on me a lot in the last few years. Genuinley just loves boxing and taking time to talk to the fans.

    paulie's that very rare kind of person who talks very fast, and talks a lot, but yet he's interesting to listen to, talks sense, and comes across as a decent guy.
    he was great the other night at the khan fight on 5 live, and so was angel garcia, danny garcia's father. the thing garcia said about showing people love made me feel a bit emotional. great stuff.

    Paulie seems a good guy,well spoken and usually has interesting things to say,never sits on the fence,he's a good character for boxing aswell,the flashy guido guy with the crazy hairstyles who cant punch for **** but is a hard man..

    That's exactly the way he comes across on both Tv & Radio commentary , i was listening to him speaking with Garcia Snr on the radio Sunday morning as i was driving from the North back to Wales after work and to tell the truth i could have listened to him for hours , Top Kid and i hope after his gutsy career is done and dusted he gets a gig with one of the big broadcasters here or in the states . maybe take over from that tosser Kellerman .
