    :hey
Well listen i like Paulie, he a fellow ny'er that i cheer for, unfortunately, Collazo didnt beat Hatton, if the fight were 15 rounds then Collazo would have won, but fights are scored round by round and i had Hatton up a couple, sure he looked rocked in the 12th, but that was just one round outta 12, and it was the first Hatton fight at 147 against a solid welterweight champion. Malignaggi, as good as he may be will not beat Ricky Hatton!

Here's what I wrote. "He may still be seen as more of a prospect by some, then a top guy in a division."

Now, where did I say he WAS A PROSPECT.

    Look up reading comprehension
    please. :good

Malignaggi earned my respect in his loss to Cotto. The guy showed major heart. In decisively beating N'dou, he showed he's a legit 140 titlist. However, you need to take this for what it is: trash talk to try to build buzz for some big money fights. Sad but true, many fighters can hold titles and NEVER get serious payday fights, even from a big name with no title. Buzzing yourself and keeping your name out there is what gets you a chance to break into the big fights for real money.

Hatton just had a win, so you talk **** about him. It's just the way it's done. I'd pick Hatton to win, probably by decision. I wouldn't count Pauli out, though. He's a slick combination puncher with plenty of speed and accuracy. A fighter similar to that gave Hatton a pretty tough fight in recent history.

Paulie is the only person since N'who to go the distance with Cotto and he won 5 rounds IMO that's better then anyone has done vs Cotto since N'dou who also won about 4 or 5 rounds vs Cotto. And no one including Sharmba Mitchell(in his prime) Miguel Cotto and Junior Witter dominated N'dou like Paulie did.........No one.

Sorry but the only young dude that was a pretty good fighter, was there much recognition for Luis Collazo before Ricky Hatton fought him?I reckon Hatton was the only one that made Collazo stand out as a good slick fighter. But i still think Hatton just won it.

I always respected Malignaggi, even picked him to beat Cotto:D But what I saw against Cotto tells me he's gonna have problems at the elite level. Why?? His right hand!! Its a damn shame this kid has the problems he does with it and though he compensates with one of the best jabs in the business, angles, and movement, it's not enough to keep the top guy's off of him. You cant move and jab your way to victory when your opponent is at the championship level and has a full arsenal. Malignaggi's lack of power in his right was a MAJOR FACTOR in being unable to keep Cotto away as Miguel walked through it. Hence, he took a huge beating, but did it with heart and determination that some fighters dont have. The main difference between Cotto and Hatton is the JAB. Cotto negoitiates the distance better as opposed to Hatton who likes to slip, block, step, and clinch his way inside.

No matter what?? This kid has balls, heart, and the will of a champion. I think he's under appreciating Hattons performances against Tszyu and Castilo and Hatton's skill level but the only way you find out how good you really are, is by fighting the top guy's. In that sense?? Malignaggi has an old school mentality. Styles make fights and while Malignaggi might win some rounds vs Hatton, I still believe that Hatton is strong enough and skilled enough to find his way inside and once there?? Its Hattons ballgame to be had.

As for the Collazo comment?? The fact that Collazo was a skilled, boxing SOUTHPAW was a big difference. Hattons body attack seems less effective against that stance. Malignaggi isnt a southpaw and once inside hatton would dominate. IMO, you cant sell Hatton short when the BIG STAGE is on. His team will no doubt gameplan and perhaps adjust Hatton to jab his way in. If that happens?? We'll be watching Malignaggi taking another spirited beating as 1 hand wont get it done. He wont KO or hurt Hatton with his right, thus his only chance is to win on points from the outside. Improving or more use of Hatton's jab will help him vs Floyd as well. DLH failed to use his enough and you see what you get that way.

Floyd?? Well who knows?? But obviously, PM takes a back seat to that matchup. Personally, I'd like to see PBF fight SSM first(he's not getting younger) then Hatton, with Hatton fighting Malignaggi in between, which would be a good fighter to adjust to the boxer style with. IMO, thats a good idea:good Floyd will move and pot shot all night as he did with DLH. Floyd's not interested or well served inside exchanging as Floyd is the consumate BOXER. The are differences and similarities between Malignaggi and Floyd. FLOYD's right isnt great either, as he's had surgeries and it breaks easy enough, yet floyd still packs a good bit more pop than PM's right. Both are speedy defensive boxers who utilize movement and angles.

If Malignaggi cant fight Hatton next, then Casamayor would certainly be a name but Casa aint prime anymore either so if he discredits Hatton beating JLC, beating Casa wouldnt be much different. Aside from that?? He should fight Torres or M'Baye and collect another belt at 40 thus ensuring his worth and creating the attention necessary for Hatton or anyone else at 40, or big name heading to 40.

Nuff respect due to the KID and with his character?? The public will contune to respect him, even if/when he loses again:good Safe to say that his fights are entertaining and he can beat most fighters not on the elite level.

Paulie's got heart, Hatton would crush him though. Casmayor would be too smart for Paulie too. Gotta hand it to him though, he's happy to fight the best.:good

I can see Malignagi beating Hatton. He would be an underdog, but i would bet on him if the odds were right. His movement is very good and he doesn't seem to tire or slow down in his fights . I've always seen that as the downfall of fast slick fighters; they get tired, lose their speed, and start getting caught. This isn't his problem and he is fairly similar to Collazo, but faster and with a better jab (not a southpaw and not nearly as powerful though). As far as Casamayor goes, Paulie wins that fight on youth alone. Casamyor is good, but i dont think he can keep up the pace.

I Paulie can't get Hatton, then take out M'Baye (no sweat) and then Torres (powerful but not skilled enough i think). If Hatton still wont fight him, then go for Witter or Harris (whoever has the title by that point) and make Hatton come for the Undisputed Light Welterweight Title.

Sure, it's optimistic, but a guy can dream cant he?

Malignaggi would get dusted down by Hatton and stopped within ten rounds. He dos'nt possess the weapons to keep Hatton off,he's fast i give him that, but so is Hatton.Pauli just talks ****,that body punch Hatton landed is the type of shot he could never land in a million years,in fact i dont think the feather fisted one has ever knocked anyone out yet has the audacity to accuse Hatton of being boring.

"I thought Ricky Hatton did what he had to do against a guy who was past his prime." Says Malinaggi fresh from beating 35 year and 10 month old Lovemore N'Dou. :huh

    LOL it tells.

A 43-0-32 KO fighter who has put out Tzsyu and Castillo doesn't have a chance against the amazing Paul Malignaggi...whose claim to fame is losing to Cotto and beating a load of U.S. 'the contender' style bums.
