I see. Thurman is still up in the air much like Broner. They haven't prove much yet i'm just basing off from their altheticism and smarts. I like what i see. Lora fight says a lot about Thurman. Showed him able to compose himself under pressure and stay with a game plan. Lora brought a lot of pressure so it was a good test. I've watched paulie for a while and he got a lot of lucky gifts decisions. He got a good jab but thats all he got and his defense is not there and offense is terrible. He is durable but that won't mean much against someone with a huge punch.
Paulie isn't A level, but he's definitely a lot closer than Thurman is. A level potential? Did people not see the same fight I saw on Saturday? A guy who was wildly swinging, slow, telegraphed punches? Overrated power, nonexistent speed, and comical "boxing skills"
Thurman is still developing. His boxing IQ is displayed and form can be tighten. Even if he swings wilding against Paulie. There is nothing Paulie can do to capitalize on his mistake. Well lets hope that fight gets made. I will make two predictions now and feel free to bump this if it happens. 1) Vegas will make Thurman will be a sizable favorite over Paulie. 2) Thurman will beat the crap out of paulie.
Paulie won't take it. He will talk a lot of ****, just like he did with Alexander. But when it's time for action, he won't be there. Cherry picking for here on out for Paulie. I will commend Paulie for one thing though: He has learned how to pick his opponents wisely.
