Maidana I believe is now his mandatory and both are with GBP, so I'm assuming this fight will take place next year. Maidana looked very improved against Soto Karass and would give Paulie a tough tough fight. Who do yall got?

Maidana would eat Paulie's jab all fight while he easily boxes circles around the crude slow plodding slugger. Maidana getting overrated again for having a great fight vs a gatekeeper who is even more crude and slow and less skilled then he is..

Paulie would pitch a shutout, I wouldn't like Maidana to take a 12 round beating for nothing.

Haven't seen Maidana most recent fight. But I have picked Malignaggi to win on points, footwork and the jab would be key.

I can't see Maidana beating Malignaggi on points, and Malignaggi has a good chin only been stopped twice both times on his feet. Survied 12 rounds with a broken Jaw against Cotto, still managed to win 4-5 rounds in that fight.

The Cotto fight was six years and 3 brutal beating ago.

I don't think Paulie would have the pop to keep Maidana off of him. Maidana, however, can be turned rather easily by a boxer, but the power would be the difference.

    Maidana late TKO.

I know but it shows his ability to take a punch. He clearly isn't the same fighter he was then but he has always had a good chin.

people thinking paulie doesn't got the pop to keep midana off him need to realize he isnt the same boxer that fought kahn or hatton...

Ive seen a change in paulie's fighting style since he picked up his new trainer. hes showing that he gots some pop to make his opponent question coming after him if you seen his last 3 fights you can see hes been leaving his opponents looking worse for ware compared to his older fights..

so paulie by wide UD.... maidana has nothing in his arsenal to stop paulie...

he's been in wars with bigger, better, just as hard hitting fighters than Maidana. See Cotto fight. Paulie is warrior who never quits and isn't afraid to take a beating, dude has a warrior spirit just no power. still he'd **** up maidana, he's a full level above.
