Malignaggi is a 2-1 underdog vs hatton. I'm thinking of putting a reaaaaal big bet down on him....

    Thoughts?

Hatton has a lot of question marks IMO...

Is he shot? (a lot of people said this after his last fight)

Has Floyd Jr.'s beatdown changed him as a fighter?

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is allegedly making hatton a very different fighter...Who knows what results a "different" ricky hatton would produce?

Hatton's biggest wins were vs 2 shot fighters (JLC & Tszyu)

And his 3rd biggest win (vs collazo) was arguably a loss.

    HOWEVER...

Paulies last 2 fights he hasn't looked good. I think if he fights as he did in '06-07, then Malinaggi is on his way to a points victory.

Anybody have any scoop on how malinaggi's looked in training??????? Or how his hands have held up so far???

What's funny is that i just watched Paulie's latest fight with Ndou and he was not impressive. He only showed flashes in brief spurts. He stands a bit too much in front of his opponent for my liking. He should be using more lateral movement. That's why he kept getting tagged with right hands all fight long against Ndou.

Before watching this fight again, i was thinking of putting down some money on Paulie UD but now, i'm not so sure. I'm leaning towards putting money down on going the distance instead. That seems safer.

malignaggi didnt take that rematch seriously though, He destroyed Ndou on their 1st meeting.. he won every rd and even knocked Ndou down which is a massive feat Ndou is a rock of a fighter.

Don't do it way too much of a risk this fight is 50/50.

Either man can win and nothing points to Hatton or Paulie as a clear victor.

    Um. If its 50/50, then I should bet Malignaggi....2-1 odds means if I bet $1,000 and win, I get $2,000 + the $1,000 I bet=$3,000.

He's been very unimpressive his last 2 fights...Why do you think malignaggi will all of a sudden turn it around and have the '06-07 style malignaggi come out of him vs Hatton???

Yeah, but if you lose, your out $1,000.

If you are going to put money down on Paulie, might as well bet on him to win via decision. You get even better odds. If you bet $1,000, you will will $2,500 instead of the $2,000. :good

Paulie is going to win. This is the most important fight of his life, and he will fight that way, like its the most important thing.
