Honestly, who would win between these two fighters right now?

    Please vote, it's a poll :)

paulie will either A box hattons ears off

or hatton gets to him with constant pressure

cotto was able to, i think hatton can do the same and grind out a UD12

    interesting fight!

guys, I really dont know what you all are smoking.

Hatton is so superior to Malignaggi, it's not even close. Hatton would DESTROY Malignaggi, and I like the guido kid.

    YOu guys are looking at:
    Malignaggi against NDou...and...
    Hatton against Mayweather...

Hatton fights better comp and he is the better fighter. His pressure would make Paulie fold, within 6 rounds.

Dam I guess I imagined Malignaggi winning about 4-5 rounds vs Miguel Cotto less then 2 years ago when he had no big fight experience heading into the fight with Cotto whos much better at just about everything that Ricky Hatton.

Cotto at 147 is incredibly superior to Cotto at 140. Cotto at 140 was so weight drained that he could only fight in spurts.

Well im positve Cotto stops Paulie at 147 but hes stronger there like you mentioned. Hatton is sutied for 140 he has no strength at 147 and I think even 140 Cotto would beat him Cotto is still superior in his jabbing, the foot movement, body punching, combos, effective pressuring. Hatton really all hes did recently is just hit and grab guys and if Paulie comes in mentally right he should be able to avoid Hatton getting inside most of the night cause hes got quick feet and faster hands.

I notice that Hatton has problems with fast fighters. Look at his fight with Colazzo and PBF. I can't blame Hatton losing to PBF, but his fight with Colazzo to me showed his weakness with fast fighters. I know that they fought a 147 lbs. which Hatton is not suited for. But Colazzo was beating Hatton to the punch and controlling him in many of those rounds. In fact, I thought Colazzo won. Malignaggi has fast hands, moves well, and has great footwork. Not much power, but possibly could win most of the rounds. He has good stamina also.

Havent yet seen anything 'magic' from Malignaggi. Fast but that pretty much seems to be it.

I'd go for Hatton KO rounds 4-6

Why is Ricky Hatton fighting Juan Lazcano instead of Paulie Malignaggi? Lazcano is too lowly rated of a fighter to fight Hatton especially since Hatton's last fight was with a PFP fighter, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
