I'm watching the GoldenBoy card from last weekend. I really like Paulie's commentary, it makes sense and he constantly refers to the fighters past. He clearly did his research and talked a lot unlike some guest commentators (like Mosley and Judah). Definatly has a future in it, very good to listen to for me. I also liked his interview about Ortiz quitting. I was impressed he didn't bring up how he had a jaw injury against Cotto and fought on (I don't think his was as bad, but he could have easily brought it up without looking like a dick).

Malignaggi is surprisingly a great analyst... I was very impressed listening to his views on youtube.. definitely has a great future in that respect and he seems like very good guy..
Agreed good analysis. His exchange with Salita was nice too. As I'm from England its my first time hearing two New Yorkers talking to one another- total madness

I would have never thought it from his early GTL days, but he is a smart guy and being behind the mic seems to suit him very well. I can only see him getting even better over time. It wouldn't surprise me if he makes it onto some much bigger stages after his career is over. He does a very good job splitting his role, he can leave what he has to be as a fighter behind when he plays the commentator role.
this...^ I've always been a fan of the guy in and out of the ring... Imagine if he had power in his fist, he would have been unstoppable... Very good commentator though...
Paulies and excellent speaker. Articulate and charismatic. I've always said he's a be a great tv personality. He's unbiased, well spoken, does his research, doesn't speak on shti he knows nothing about.....puts the other boxers who've tried it to shame. Tarver's pretty decent but Paulie willbe better. He got that gift of gab.
