Read this interview, Paulie goes on to say Miguel Cotto is probably the only guy who could beat Floyd "Money" Mayweather at 147. He also talk's about the Hatton- Mayweather fight as well as other things.

I think most people believe IF there was anyone who could, its Cotto. Whether he will or not, is another matter.

Good on Paulie for speaking the truth about Floyd-Hatton. Hitting and then holding is ILLEGAL. Hatton was known for it, and Floyd-Hatton was one of the biggest fights of the year. Cortez was merely making sure that Hatton couldn't fight ILLEGALLY in such a big fight. Good on him.

that wasn't the point mate. Cortez was stopping Hatton holding and hitting, granted, but he wasn't stopping Floyd with the forearms and elbows. If you're gonna stop something at least be consistent for both fighters.

Hatton lost that fight fair and square and he will lose a rematch if it ever took place BUT PBF consistenetly and constantly uses his elbows in fights not just the Hatton fight. Wonder when someone will complain about it to the referee before the fight.

I think there are a few fighters who can beat PBF but he would not fight them. Vernon forrest and Winky Wright would definately defeat PBF.

mainly because of the height, reach and size disparity, every fighter has a limit to how high they can go up the scales. 154 was his limit and if he ever fought Wright it would look like Man versus child.

Pauli is just bigging up the only guy to beat him. Its a way to rationalize the loss, lots of boxers do it. "He beat me, he MUST be a great fighter..."

Must have. He let Hopkins hold all day, but he was terrible towards Hatton in that respect. If Hatton was allowed to fight the way he faught Tszyu it woula been a different fight- not saying he would have won, but he would not have lost as bad and probably would not have been ko'd

I do agree that Cotto has the best chance at 147. It would be interesting to see how he would do against Mosley and Williams though
