you know that i'm right so you have chosen not to debate whether i'm wrong. mayweather knocking out hatton made him who he is. he is living of the fact that he got KO'd by the best fighter in the world. his resume is poor at best.
Nope, I just don't care enough to try and debate whether you are right or wrong. The reality is that Hatton has a 'w' against Collazo and history will record that he beat him, so what you or I think is insignificant. Perhaps Hatton is most famous for losing to Mayweather, to people who don't really follow the sport closely, like yourself it would seem. To everyone else, Hatton has been around a lot longer than late 2007.
well realizm seems to agree with me, tszyu was definately shot, he had nothing, he came over to england to get a good payday because noone in america was interested in him and couldn't offer the kind of money he was going to get from hatton for sitting on his stool. you agree that castillo was shot. beating vivian isn't anything big, he is a journeyman at best. and mausa lost to a bum with a record of 19-6 6 months before he fought hatton. most people believe collazo beat hatton. ricky beating urnago with a chest infection shows how **** urango is. you agree with me on lazcano
******ed post of the day flagged and noted. I guess the OP doesn't even know they fight in different weight classes. :nut
hatton has a 'w' against collazo, but when you look at the fight and score rounds then you can see that collazo outclassed hatton and did more that enough to get a decision. if i sadly passed away today, and you lived till you where 90, then i would still have more boxing knowledge than you. kid you aint on my level and you are coming out with shitty arguments.
If Tszyu was really shot, Hatton would have dealt with him a lot quicker. Instead, other than the Mayweather fight, Tszyu was his toughest. Castillo was shot, though that was proven in hindsight. Many people were predicting a close fight - also, JLC beat Ngoudjo better than Paulie did. The Maussa fight was taken purely on the basis that he held a WBA title. Mayweather and Cotto had other opponents lined up at the time - so why not unify? Who else was there? Your point on Collazo is debatable. Hatton winning EVERY round with a chest infection shows how good Ricky is. Urango has won each of his subsequent fights by KO - and will continue to do so. He isn't special, but very good nonetheless. Lazcano was chosen for his comeback fight because they had a prior agreement to fight in '06. When JL backed out with a bad hand, they had a gentleman's agreement to give him the next available slot.
I think I was probablly on your level when I was about 9 years old to be honest, since then I think I have probablly moved on a fair bit. I'm not making any argument, I'm not defending Hatton's resume because I simply don't care enough about that particular fighter to bother, I'm simply pointing out two things: 1. Malignaggi is not good enough to give Hatton a "masterclass" or "boxing lesson", he might win, sure, but come on, be realistic. 2. Hatton's reputation is not built on losing bravely to Mayweather. Its built on beating Zoo and Castillo. Simple as that. :blood
I agree with you for the most part, however you are being somewhat biased and showing just a touch of hatred towards Hatton....You are unReal on the following: Urango is infact a quality win for Hatton and Beeston was correct that this victory will prove better in time... Tszyu was a good victory as well, even despite the level of shotness, Tszyu is no easy customer... Personally I don't like Ricky Hatton much at all, but I have to give him credit and respect for what he has done
Tszyu at his toughestatsch . he was finished, he had nothing left he came and fought but when he knew that he couldn't keep up with the pace he sat on his stool and quit. he only fought hatton so he could get a big cheque. castillo just about got a split decision against a green nguudgo. he was shot, and the people giving castillo a chance were setanta so then people would watch the fight. other than mausa, hatton could have fought ricardo torres or junior witter, both fights would have been bigger and better. Juan Urango has fought bums since losing to hatton, one guys got a record of 22-39. your argument doesn't stand up. you again agree that lazcano is ****.
