After reading his Facebook yesterday, I'm not at all surprised to hear it. Didn't sound like a man who was ready to retire. I had mentioned that I'd heard a rumour about the weight issues a few weeks before the Khan fight (although as it says in the article, it's not an excuse for the loss as Khan fought very, very well)
He can't make lightweight. 138.5 killed him to make vs Diaz. Who will Paulie face at WW? I warmup against Matt Hatton in England would be ideal. THE BATTLE OF MAGIC lol, then he could rematch Ricky at 147.
After beating Matt he should go on a mad tirade in the ring against Ricky to try and force him to fight him, sort of like what he did after the first Diaz fight but against Ricky. Make him mad & hate Paulie so he wants to take his head off :hey
Then what? Ricky takes his head off? :bart I'm just thinking from a money and selfish POV. Although Ricky is in spectacularly crap shape, it might work out for Paulie.
I'm not interested in seeing him anymore at any weight. He's quite **** to watch, one handed, his fights with good fighters are too easily predicted.
Khan's a big LWW though. What are you saying? Paulie doesn't have major problems with hard hitters, he has a good chin.
paulie is looking at big money fights ..... r hatton (145 cw) cotto rematch pacquiao (grudge match) berto ( powerfull but slow feet) Bradley (will move up to 147 soon) m hatton ( tease ricky out of retirement) clottey ( slow feet and workrate) well done paulie gutsy as usual :good Go on Son
Id give PM the edge of Clottey actually, Matt Hatton too ofcourse, but none of the others. Cant understand how someone has said he's is crap to watch, aside from his lack of power he is great to watch.
