Paulie moving up to welter..!

I agree with lads who say move to lightweight. He easily made 140..well he said he did...i prefer him to go down to 135. He could win another world title there IMO. He still has ability he just can't handle the power and size of the new 140 beasts. These guys are different animals to him. 135 he look ok IMO...but probably fear of weight draining...easy move to 147...doesn't make it right though.

 

I like Paulie but don't see the point in moving up. Might have the extra speed but there isn't too many at lww that are quicker than him now. Outside of Amir, Devon and Tim who all talk about going up not too many beat him imo

 

I'd give him a chance against marquez at WW

his power wont be any different so he might benifit from not
cutting too much weight while getting older
his chin will prob be okay too ???
his chin is GRANITE look at the abuse it took from khan
big shots every 3-5 secs and it stood strong
it should stand up to a 147 punch okay
just has to make sure he only takes one then moves or holds
he might be a step quicker than berto (forbes was okay)
just not too much pride while trading shots

I'm glad he will atleast fight one more time, I personally think he is way too small for WW.....He comes in on fight night anywhere from 148-150....

A local promoter in Italy, wants paulie to fight there....that would be a nice way to end his carear, but what will probably happen, he will fight a tune-up, and win, and then get stopped by the big guns in the division...

Ironically, Clottey is made for a malignaggi type fighter....If paulie has anything left he would wide UD clottey....He would probably beat senchenko as well...
