Paulie is aight but I liked Too Sharp and Tarver better. Paulie comes off corny to me sometimes.

I think Paulie did a excellent job last night, after he hangs up the gloves, he would make a great permanent expert analyst for Showtime. That's assuming Tarver doesn't get his job back with them once his year long ban from the sport is up.

Really?? I thought "Too Sharp" was anything but, that night. He was just corney as hell, and most of his analogies, left the rest of his broadcast team speechless, when he was clearly expecting some sort of response from them.

I guess I just found Paulie to be much better, than Mark, although I find Antonio to be better than both.

Paulie seemed to do a good job. Nice and solid.

Where's Tarver? Best expert commentator out there.

He is a massive step up from Tarver. Tarver was getting better but showtime should have made sure he had a firm grasp of English before assuming he could do the job. Pauli did a terrific job and he was actually interesting.

I thought Paulie was outstanding. Based on Saturday's broadcast he could be my favorite broadcaster working today.

I've grown to really like Paulie over the last few years and really enjoy his commentary. I'm glad to see that others enjoyed him as well.

As much as I loved Johnson's skateboard metaphor (it was freaking great) I thought that overall, Paulie did a better job.

I'm in the minority, but I didn't like him. Talks too much. Showtime is better with 2 guys in the booth, as opposed to HBO(which has everyone talking over each other, usually about nothing). Last night, they had about 4 or 5(counting Brian kenney). Prefer Gus/Steve Albert/Steve Farhood and Al Bernstein

Yeah, he's only better for comedy purposes. A lot of WTF moments with him.
