Paulie did a brilliant job... He brings alot of insight and he's a good speaker! He will have another career as a broadcaster once he hangs up the gloves.

The criticism that he talks too much is interesting. You notice when he talks because he doesn't usually speak in spurts. He goes into a little bit of details and thus talks for a sustained time. But overall he seemed to talk rather infrequently, surprising, and did not seem to want to step on toes.

Paulie did a wonderful job... He didn't talk too much. When he did talk he made it count. Paulie is a class act and was a wonderful addition to the broadcast! :deal

Yeah, I was thinking "Goodbye Magic Man, Hello other Magic Man". But for the record...Showtime would be a fool to dump Tarver perminately, He is too-damn-good.

I was very impressed with not just Paulie but the performance and chemistry of the entire announcing crew.

Hope to see more of that unit.

Malignaggi did a great job. I can't say the same for Mark "too sharp" Johnson. Johnson could barely speak, and offered no insight, whereas Paulie was very articulate and concise.
The intelligence disparity between the 2 is immense.

Too Sharp was good as well.

It's nice to see guys that have paid dues in the ring get a chance at the easy money.

    May this trend continue.

I think he did a very satisfactory job although the only fight I watched on that card was the Maidana V Soto Karass, also saw him commentating for Dmitry Salita's last fight and he did a good job there too. Its good to know he's got a career waiting for him when he decides to hang them up

Its odd that he only seems to be commentating on cards that possible opponents for him are fighting on though

Dmitry Salita called Paulie out after his win and Maidana-Karass was for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental welterweight title

I think it was ESPN but it was definitely for Dmitry Salita's last fight

Love his voice, and also thought he did a pretty solid job.

    No complaints from me.

i thought he did a great job, knows his stuff.

Always think you should have a pro or ex pro commentating on these fights
