Yes, i am not denying that he won both fights against Diaz.. but these are fights that he should be winning. Some people on here used this as an indication that he was getting better... but very hard to do at 29 years old, right? + He said himself that in a rematch he would make Hatton look silly... don't think so Paulie
He's never been up to much, IMO. His athleticism is the only thing he really has going for him. His skills are decidedly average by world level standards.
Yes, he should have won both, and not many fighters can improve that significantly at this point of their career. Paulie will probably never reach that elite welter status. He is a very skilled fighter, but has come up short when it really mattered.
Malignaggi has improve enough to beat fighters such as Diaz, but he needs to improve more drastically against fighters such as Marquez. Doing what he does now with his new team would get him into bigger fights. What he has to do next? Definitely fight another difficult opponent. Malignaggi should fight Ortiz, if he wins convincingly, then he's probably ready to take on Khan, if he wins convincingly in that fight, then he's probably ready to take on Marquez or whomever he wants to fight.
By many??? That's just bull**** coming out of your mouth now. Maybe a few, but many?? At any rate. I'm a big Juan Diaz fan, and I said going into the rematch that Paulie was too big for Juan Diaz who could be fighting at S.Featherweight if he trimmed down. Paulie sux balls. His best win is vs a small light fisted lightweight going up in weight.:yep Paulie received TWO gifts against Lovemore NDou and Herman Ngoudjo, yet this lip gloss wearing, eye brow plucking ***** has the nerve to throw the biggest temper tauntram boxing has ever seen!!!? :-(
