I think so. Paulie has hurt cotto and diaz who both have better chins than khan. He also hurt hatton for a split second. LOL nah but i think he did make hatton stop momentarily. He can hurt khan, i have no doubt.
Paulie likes to keep the leading left low, flicking out his jab, and tries to block shots with his right and moving his head and hips. Got good movement and footwork but if pressed in the right way will try to duck and hold on. Khan is going to expose that low left with pressure straight down the middle leading in with fast jab's which have a longer reach than Paulie's and straight rights all night. Paulie will try to move and duck out the way but Khan handspeed and pressing will pin him. Khan's use of his full reach by not hooking much, speed, and jab will be the key.
Paulie isn't as easy to hit as you think. And I think you mis undertsand Khan's style, he is no pressure fighter, he's gonna be in and out all night. I just think Paulie has a lot more experience to get "exposed", I still think Khan will win mind but I think Paulie will find some success with his jab when Khan is at range - Khan's head movement is not good.
Paulie's defence is horrible. Best part of the Hatton - Paulie build up was people portraying Malignaggi as some kind of slickster with the reflexes of sweet pea :rofl
Yes but Hatton is a completely different animal and Paulie got exposed there no doubts. His defence isn't horrible either, he's very good with range and okay at evading jabs and straights. (Khan's main weapons?)
I think its a hard fight for Khan, Paulie is a tricky ****er, who can fight on the back foot..... i can see him getting Khan with a few nice counters..... i would be surprised if he KO's him but i don't think its out the question...... Khans gonna have to go back to his Olympic days if he wants to beat Paulie.... just keep his distance and box him, don't commit yourself to anything.... just quick combination's in and out boxing The Khan of the Prescott defeat would definitely get beat by Paulie..... But i think Khans a lot more subtle these days and will win a UD.... in a good fight
Paulie couldn't even evade Hatton's leaping left hooks that came from the other side of the ring. The chances of him evading Khan's much sharper and straighter punches are zilch.
Nope, I think Khan is more likely to school him. Look, Paulie has good skills but its all about styles. Imposing his skills on Juan Diaz is one thing, he's always coming looking for you. Khan isn't going to go looking for him, he'll use his reach and superior speed and keep the punches long.
