Whatever Paulie got paid it was too much. I thought he could give Ricky a fight, but to me it looked like he showed up to get a check.
The hit he took in the 2nd seemed to take away his ability to attack, he was to busy trying to avoid getting pinged again to do anything but hold. I believe he could have lasted the distance, but really his corner did the best thing; they warned him. Conceeding defeat is not that bad.
