It's refreshing to see an honest assessment from a boxer instead of "I'm the best, they are all beneath me" type garbage.

I definitely agree with Paulie on Witter. Witter is perhaps the most underrated fighter in boxing. I'd make a fight with Hatton 50/50.

good assessment and great see he is smart enough to realise Witter is better than Hatton.

I'm actually a Paulie fan but he wouldn't last 4 rounds with Ricky

Hatton would eat witter. Lets see how long witter would have lasted with Koysta and castillo. U just don't like hatton.

Man, Paulie has come a long way from his days of bagging on fighters. (Mike Arnaoutis comes to mind)

He seems to have matured a ton, and I appreciate his straight-up honest opinion on these fighters.

He earned boatloads of my respect after the Cotto fight, and I can honestly say I'm becoming a small fan of his.

I also think he'd be a decent commentator on HBO, if given the chance.

Your right. He's very biased against Hatton.
But Witter is better than Hatton imo!

witter is better than collazo, and lets not forget hatton struggles with slick southpaws.

They call hatton overrated but so his witter. I mean I would like to see them both fight and watch hatton knock him out. I say this because they have a go at hattons record but witters is just as bad also witter fought a man who ducked hatton for maussa. How after one performance which was good no doubting that because I was there and he leathered but to proclaim him the best lightwelterweight his wrong.
