Julio Caesar Chavez jnr is the butterbean of now. A dead set side show getting ppv spots agaianst rubbish opponents.

Agree on Valero. Wont be long before he is caught. Might be in his next fight actually...Antonio Demarco on Feb 6.

Okay... He does create some exciting viewing.. although seeing him fight and upset quality opponents would add to the interest.

Chavez jnr... he'd be a great wicket keeper... nothing gets past his head.

a good card i thought.i enjoyed the U/C.Pavlik got marked up by Espino:lol:despite a massive height/reach advantage.Pavlik is ****.the post fight speech was **** he wont face williams he didnt go up 2 divisions when molested by Hopkins it was at 170.2 fights previously he fought JT at a catchweigh 164 or thereabouts.he will book himself in alcohol rehab rather than fight Williams.

Pavlik will knock Williams out "if" Williams will get into the ring with him. Martinez sure beat his arse! Good thing the fight was in Williams' hometown with Williams' judges and referee. Good thing also that Martinez did not have time to train. Imagine if Martinez had had time to have trained?!

I have been keeping a close eye on Martirosyan for quite some time.
Has a stellar amateur background & no doubt in my mind he will win a Junior Middleweight Title.

Far too many people writing off kelly Pavlik , Pavlik could still do a lot in the sport , he should move to a weight ( Imo 168lbs ) and concentrate on carving out a decent career there , STIFFY... i don't often disagree with what you say BUT the people behind Pavlik need shooting with **** for going up to 170lbs to fight Hopkins doing that takes a experience , Joe managed it after many years struggling @ 168 and only just squeeked past him due to Hopkins negative attitude . Pavlik should have stayed @ Middle and fought Sturm imo , Williams got hyped beyond belief post Winky and i reckon Pavlik will whoop him next summer .

said it before and ill say it again, ill back pavlik vs anyone at 160. and josey, as long as pav can still make 160, he should stay there, he is only 27 or so, no need to jump weight before his body tells him too.

id like to see hi work on his defence, he gets hit way too much and doesnt seam to worry about fixing it. sure he has a great chin but they dont always last forever.

Yes Marcus in an ideal world Pavlik would stay @ Middle where he is a beast but i was under the impression he was struggling to make weight there and was testing the waters north v Taylor 2 and after that went well they made the idiotic decision to push him Up to 170lbs plus V Hopkins of all people , pure and simple Bad match making imo .

from what iv read he walks around only a little over 170.

J taylor asked for a weight over 160 if he lost in his contract from my memory.

yeah goin against b hop was a mistake, we all thought that after he got beat, because he was a huge favorite going into the fight and most on here tipped pavlik to win.

i remember seeing this guy a few years back and thinking he was the goods then but to throw him to a lion like Yuri...farrrrkkkkk

he has good power and some pretty decent skills, i wouldnt quite back him to win a world title just yet, i cant find his fight vs tsurkan which suxs, id like to see that.

and I remember you telling me that Hopkins will be the only bloke that beats Pavlik. You may end up being correct but i dont think so.
