There are way better fights out there for Kelly. Abraham, Calzaghe, even a rematch with Zuniga or Miranda would be more exciting. I might even rather see him fight McKart again. (OK...that last part was a joke)

Arum changes plans more than I change my underwear. He is probably fishing for a low bid or throwing us off the scent of a Cal/Pav matchup next. Rubio already priced himself out once wanting 'Duddy Money'. Who's name did Don King throw out at one point and said it was in the works? I don't even remember that one.

come on rubio is a good decent fighter, but i thought they really would want a bigger fight after locket. Perhaps they are waiting for abraham or duddy

As long as he won't fight a Euro bum like Calzaghe or Abraham, Vince will always :happy :happy :happy .

Duddy brings a lot of fans to a fight in Madison Square Gardens. Rubio priced himeself out of tonights shot not realizing he wasn't worth the same money Duddy was.

I can see why Pavlik will want an easy come back fight after Lockett embarrasses him but surely he could find some one better than Rubio.

    I know.

But Lockett, Rubio and Duddy in a row? NO.

Lockett and Rubio or Lockett and Duddy? Fine - as long a big fight is next. BTW, Trinidad-Pavlik isn't a big fight in my opinion (Of course, moneywise, it is).

Yes, look for a Duddy fight on or around March 16th in MSG.

If this does come off, especially in Cleveland, I'll be there. But we know Arum could change this atlelast 3-4 times between now and then. Rubio is ok but this has ko victory for Pavlik written all over it but it should be an entertaining fight until then.

Pavlik earned an easier opponent or maybe two after his three fight streak with Taylor and Miranda. But after Lockett and Rubio, two guys who might not even be top 10 middleweights, he really needs to face Abraham or Winky Wright. No Duddy or Mayorga. He earned his soft touches and he definitly is taking them. Time to face the best again thats what made him popular with a lot of fans in the first place.
