I disagree with pretty much everything you say in any conversation. On same occasions you get things right, but even then you're an arrogant jack ass, and a very hard person to like in general.
Ha-Ha! Kelly gets a bloody nose if someone in the crowd gives him a dirty look during the ring walk! He had sinus problems that required a couple surgeries. I believe this problem goes all the way back to his amateur days.
some guys just bleed from the nose if anything touches them. The first time I sparred I bloodied the other guys' nose, which felt pretty bad ass, until I found out he bleeds from there almost every time he spars.
The one time I debated with you and Hermit, for week after week, was before Pavlik vs. Martinez. I tried telling you Pavlik was going to get schooled and you didn't listen. You can call it arrogance, if you like. I'd call it a good, accurate pick. Everything I said in that thread came true because, unlike you, I understand Pavlik's strengths and weaknesses, whereas you've made him out to be some kind of great fighter based on a few dominant performances early in his career. You fail to see what a limited fighter Pavlik is and, honestly, I hate being blunt with this because I loved watching Pavlik fight and I think he's a great guy, but he has a terribly ignorant fanbase who made him out to be a much better fighter than he is. If you want, you can keep on praising Pavlik, keep watching him beat up guys like McKart from years ago, keep making **** threads, keep making awful predictions and the next time Pavlik gets shown up a limited fighter, keep making pathetic excuses.
EVEN if you could drag up the threads (this wouldn't be your first attempt at revisionist history) Pavlik was up on the scorecards after 8. How was that 'schooled'. He hung in after a bad cut. Don't make me look up the post where you say pad work is just for show......
Fights aren't scored after 8 rounds. The middle rounds that Pavlik won, by the way, were the ones that Martinez took off. Whenever Martinez stepped on the gas, he made Pavlik look like a slow, sluggish, plodding, limited puncher. I love how people talk about cuts like they magically apart. Are cuts the doings of leprechauns or something? Pavlik started to bleed because he was getting hit with everything Martinez had and stood there gormlessly, taking every single shot. I said a certain type of padwork is for show. Much padwork is crucial for a fighter but the routines, such as what Floyd does with his eyes shut, serves no purpose in the ring. None.
