Thank You. I just get tired of the haters, the skeptics, and the Calzaghe fans who can't see the truth that is right in front of them. A guy with a great lead right is a southpaw's worst nightmare, and Joe's defense is no better than Kelly's. His average connect rate is much lower, and Joe won't hurt Pavlik, but Pav would hurt joe repeatedly. However, if Pavlik decides to take a fight with Calzaghe, I do think he should say goodby to 160, and then take a good 4 or 5 months to add the extra weight.

Well yeah, your not going to see many of us comparing his abilities to PBF anytime soon. But his mobility and defense is better than what you and alot of others credit him for. If not Miranda (defense) and JT (all around skillset required) would have beat the **** out of him.

No Pav doesn't fold in half backwards to avoid a punch, and he doesn't do much jogging around the ring either, but he catches a hell of a lot of shots with his gloves and subtle head/upper body movements (conserves a lot more energy than folding in half and running around) leaving him all of his stamina for vicious attacks and "gas" to go 12.:deal

Id like to see it happen but it highly doubtful considering Cal has trouble making 168 and is now fighting at 175. Pavlik would need a couple fights at 168 and by then Cal will be collecting social security checks.

OK - I will be leaving this insanity now, but ffs try to watch some ****in tapes and see the difference.

If you cant admit that Pavlik is slow and has leaky defence you could might as well just admit that you are in love with the dude.

Release yourself of Pavliks dick and you will see the difference.

Good post. Much better than the usual from Calz and Kess fans that he's just SO slow, plodding, non-existant defense, shaky chin (although similiarly Calz has been down before a couple times, but night and day difference to those dudes), sloppy, etc.. Which is easy to see is nothing but blind hatred, because not only are most grossly exagerated, but simply untrue.

    But you know what.
Miranda and Taylor are both vastly overrated compared to the SMW top dogs. This is why I get frustrated by the fact that nuthuggers predict a Pavlik KO against JC. Thats absurd my friend.

As for his defence - yes, yes, yes he cathces some punches with his guard but he does get hit WAY too much. And thats just a ****in fact.

Ill leave you two with peace in this beautifull moment of sharing love for a fighter that has extreme flaws.

Pavlik is stronger and better than SUPERMAN.:good

Well, that didn't hurt against Taylor, who I think is faster than Cal or Kessler. I watched the fights back to back. I think Taylor just has more natural hand speed. I think it was Amsterdam that posted some links to Kessler fights. The clip of Andrade floored me. I think I have more speed than Andrade and Kessler couldn't put him away?

I think Pavlik's defense is under rated because people don't realize how he uses his reach advantage. He doesn't seem to care if he gets caught at the end of some ones reach. Yeah, his head goes back 2 inches, and it looks like a clean shot, but it doesn't hurt him since the opponent is pretty much fully extended at that point. Not saying he doesn't misjudge the distance a little sometimes though. ;) So to him is like giving someone $10 for a $9 lunch and getting $2 in change. It allows him to keep up the pressure, which is his style.

Well, if we get the ref from the last Abraham fight, he can give Joe a knee and rabbit punch when he comes in head down.

Were my thoughts exactly, as I pointed out he UD 12'd JT, an Olympic medalist who'd UD'd twice JC's current opponent.

    :rofl

Very logical prediction, ASSterdam. Calzaghe couldn't KO Pavliks Grandmother.
