LOL. This hopefully is part of a larger picture, and the fight was dreamed up by those with the power to make Joe vs Pav actually happen, with this being part of the marketing ploy.

Pavlik might get you 1/25 on your money, but that doesn't mean Lockett will get you 25/1.

If you don't realise this you should not gamble.

It's great when he has the time to post. He's obviously someone close to THE MAN, and the inside info is brain candy.

That "different" type of interview of you put up the other day was friggin fantastic. It did seem he has much more disdain for Lockett than most of the normal PR's suggest.

at 25-1 its definetly worth putting a fiver on lockett. He will probably lose but he is a big puncher and anyone can land a fluke haymaker al la sprott - harrison

Lockett has never proven to be a big puncher and don't compare that gutless piece of **** Audley Harrison to Kelly Pavlik. :-(

Comparing Kelly Pavlik to Audley Harrison is a bit far fetched.

Audley has about as much bottle as the England middle order (cricket), whilst Pavlik came back from the brink against Taylor in the first fight.

Pavlik is a tad overrated on ESB, but he will deal with Lockett with ease. A guy who isn't even top 10 P4P in his own country stands no chance - not even a punchers one.

    End of story.

I think lockett's chance's are being a tad underated he has nothing to lose and no pressure on him to do well. But i think pav will ko him in 4 or 5.

Nope. Kelly is much taller and according to Steward "fights tall". I suppose he can be right about something. That said, Kelly has too much height, power and skill to really give Lockett a 'fiver' worth of chance in this case. I just don't think he gets close enough to Kelly to land flush. Kelly will take a punch at the end of Lockett's range so he can deliver his own punch though. People mistake that as a "leaky defence" a lot around here but taking a blow that has nothing on it is part of his game.

Pavlik is being overrated and lockett is proably being underrated a bit but anything less than a 100-1 is a fools bet Im afraid.

Lockett was last seen packing gear and rations to hide out in the mountains this weekend.

i expected something along the lines of 30-1............so 25-1 is right on imo.

cant see an upset. pavlik has the advantage in every department.

sometimes a fighter with lesser talent can win or at least be troublesome if the style of the underdog plays into the favorites weaknesses.

but this is not the case here.
both are conventional straight up fighters................with pavlik simply far better.

if lockett lasts the distance, then he is a moral winner. but i doubt it.
