Salute, sir. I feel the same, but just killing time until the Super Bowl. (not that I give a ****, but commercials are funny as hell). Maybe though, if you have time, sir, atleast adress his assertion that all these world class fighters are basically ****ed against Carl's Superior Versatility!
I wish one of these days Zuniga could get some love. It was awesome though to see him welcome the 100% KO ratio Oganov to the big leagues though.:yep
Just to let you know since you mentioned post count earlier. TFFP is back down to around 1900! I think the DB had a mis-fire.
Good thing Kelly fights his fights in the ring. Because pre-fight, fantasy, whatever---according to the boxing world Pavlik would be 0-35. All by KO 1 too, lol.
You too? I'm not sure exactly on mine, but I'm pretty sure I was pushing close to 6K, oh well. We're all newbs again.
its not froch he is defending - its the predominently european assertion that "nobody wants to fight me" because i've made a name for myself over here..and i'm a golden goose for my promoter - so he won't risk me. euro boxing fans commonly try to use this excuse because they have hooked onto a fighter who might be skilled, but they're bigging him up because they dont see the bigger picture. so they try to downplay higher profile fighters and use "world champion" or "undefeated" as a defence. both of these terms are cheap in boxing because of the circus that boxing is with multiple bodies. i've explained over and over again that talented fighters without a US profile can cry until they retire if they don't have enough self-respect (or their promoters do) to go for it. it's not right that fighters have to make their name for themselves in the US rather than anywhere else - but thats the way it is! and anyone who wants to cry about witter, froch, kessler or a prime calzaghe not being able to get big fights when they wanted them can't tell me EXACTLY WHY guys like hatton and tszyu had no trouble doing it once they had the balls to back themselves in the US. i'll take on anyone for the next couple of hours who disagrees with me and can tell me why these guys made a name for themselves while others didn't.
The Z man has a shot against Bute coming up, and this ain't no "take it on 2 weeks notice" situation. I'm not looking for him to win, but I am looking for him to let Bute know he's been in a fight. **** almighty I wish it was Froch Z was fighting:yep And yes, I too lost a bunch of posts. I was well over 5000. PS Pavlik KO8 Abraham (That's secret code for "remember the pm I sent?")
In my opinion Abraham fits into the same mold as Froch. If you look strictly at what he has acomplished in the ring, the winner of Williams/Wright would be a much bigger fight for Pavlik, especially if it's Winky. However, if KP were to take that fight, all the Euros would scream about him ducking Abraham. Reality is that fighting Winky after he beats PW in order to avoid AA would make about as much sense as pissin' in your boots to keep your feet warm.
Holy HELL!!!! :rofl:rofl Never heard that one before! Ps. (was that secret code for you found it, or it worked?)
i live in denmark so i think you can appreciate it when i say that team palle not taking the miranda fight and 'letting' abraham get it did a lot more good for abraham - who's team is legitimately making moves in the US now - than kessler 'allowing' team palle to take a paper belt from sartisan and trying to back it up with a meaningless fight against haussler in germany. i think abraham deserves props for making moves that kessler (and he has to be accountable for his managerial team too)..didn't. it pisses me off mightily that i can't have more say in this because, as i've said before too many times - i know kessler casually at the gymn i train in copenhagen - but i don't know him well enough to give out my opinions. i could manage kessler to the fights he wants to the US right now becuse i couldn't give a crap about the financial side of boxing but i know how the business side works. that might sound laughable but it's true. i've never been financially motivated and i think it's why i can be so passionate about things now without any bull**** inbetween. abraham's a league ahead of froch as soon as he took - and beat miranda in the US - and you just watch how his career flourishes inj the next year or two.
I hear ya though. Extending on BAD INTENTIONS 2's post aswell, I couldn't have been more convinced after watching AA vs. Elvin Ayala. And the KO at the end was via super elbow to the chin uppercut with :28 to go in the 12th. (Ayala's team didn't protest, but that was not the shot it was made out to be, and it can be confirmed about the elbow) Ayala fights out of Pennsylvania and I'd seen a good bit of him. I also saw him get that shitty draw with S. Mora which was the very 1st time Ayala had ever fought out of Pa. His fight with AA was his 2nd and after watching that it is my firm opinion that Pavlik will rock that ass in 8 or less as well. Don't give a damn.
