Not yet; I bought mine from a ticket broker and I keep checking the fed ex tracking number every couple of hours, just waiting for them to get here. I can't wait; this will be my first lineal title fight.
I watched the Abraham documentary that was shown in German cinemas in mid-2008. One thing I found particulary interesting was his way to describe to get his punches off: He said that he waits a bit to study his opponent, then "dreams" what he should do, does it and get into his rhythm. How this works out is just beyond me, but then again I am no boxer. How can someone have such a good anticipation that works out with his strategy, just crazy...
Basically I see Pavlik winning rounds on work rate and reasonably comfortably at that. Abraham at some point is going to open up and I think he has good enough timing to catch Pavlik at somepoint, and I think with Abrahams power it will be enough to finish Pavlik. I would however go as far to say I just cannot picture Abraham doing enough to win 7 rounds against Pavlik. Still. Abraham KO7
Me too! I had a case of the shits to where I could have shot 4 feet out of a screened window waiting on mine. I'd ordered mine from a person and not a broker such as ticket master. Hermit is a fine man at talking sense into jumpy younger fellas'. As far as the fight, sir, I have to make an admission here. This will be the first Proffessional Boxing event I've ever attended, and to top it with a cherry it's for the REAL MW CHampionship of the World!! Hope you can get with me and Hermit, and hopefully we can find J-Simps. Be real cool to get some of the Pavlik ESB gang together for some laughs.
That's different, and at the same time interesting. To each his own, and it has worked for him thus far, so can't say nothing about that. I would like to add one more time, I think his victory over Marquez is being a little overlooked on here. THat was a GREAT victory for AA, Marquez had built up quite a bit of momentum and was talkin' mad garbage about everybody (belt holders). I was proud of AA to take him down in 5.:good
You're making it REAL HARD for me not to drag this thread down. Seriously though. I have read that we need sleep to process the day's information. So, this is entirely logical. It just shows how much he thinks about what he is doing.
Really?? Cool, that is a nice town, and got a pretty good Ski Resort there too. If I'm guessing right, I bet you meant to type Becklley.
I did indeed canny ****ing spell for crap . She is over seeing her bloke. Says its nice if a bit rural.
Hey Buddy -- how the hell ya been??????????? We've got a damn good thread going here. Welcome aboard. On a certain level I do not think we will se any surpises when this fight happens. Kelly probably isn't going to come out and try "new stuff" against Arthur, and visa versa. I really disagree with any scenario that leads to a 12 round decision. This is two monster KO artists; somebody is goin' down. Pavlik KO8 Abraham. If you have time, put in your 2 cents in the form of a more detailed analysis.
Rural sums it up niceley. Even thought it's a decent sized town, it is all steep hills and lot of trees.
