If you're a Pavlik fan then maybe.

Fact is what has Mora done to deserve a title shot at 160?

Other than be on The Contender of course :patsch

Are we necessarily complaining about that?

Why would they approve of Randy Griffin?

I see what you're trying to do but I don't get why HBO would be interested in it.

I don't agree Mora deserves a title shot. He won a title then lost it next fight. That's a lot different than a guy dominating a division and moving up.

In your mind everything Arum says and does is right and Arum can do know wrong. Either your in the tank and biased or scared of AA so much your making every excuse for the fight not to happen

Like I said earlier. Part of backing Pavlik means I'll be wrong no matter what, so who cares? Arum helped Kelly to where he is. Think that just maybe that means he knows his business? Kelly has said he will retire at 30. That means 4 more years and 12 to 16 more fights. Abraham is not a make/break fight for him. For all practical matters, his career only started a few fights ago. Excuse me if I don't get too worked up about one fight that some people seem to think they can demand NOW because that is what THEY want. And will then sit around complaining it is PPV and smuggly comment on how they will watch a free stream and not pay for it anyhow.

AA is not just any opponent like the others. He is the only rival to the claim of best MW and thats why people are demanding they fight to settle this debate.

I dont get what is so hard to understand...Its not just a case of people knowing who a guy is..Rubio and fighters like him will take fights for much less money therefore making it a more viable fight. AA will command and should get 5 to 6 times what Rubio got to fight Pavlik as will Pavlik for fighting AA..So with the payout being much higher there has to be some demand or reason for people to buy the fight...Truth be told AA is no more known here then Rubio, in fact he may be less known...

Mora is known, and as of right now a fight with Mora would generate a bigger return then a fight with AA for Pavlik..

Solid post, as usual. Between Mexican stations, ESPN, and HBO, Rubio is probably far better known in the USA than Abraham. I think Rubio got $250K for fighting KP. Abraham should not even consider it for less than $1.5 million.

Your wrong, that stuff happens all the time...A champ from the lower weight often gets a shot a the title in his first fight at a higher weight. should Cotto go up to 154 he would likely go up for a shot at the title and not just to fight a contender. In fact the guy you mentioned (Cotto) somehow EARNED a shot to fight for a vacate title in his first fight at 147..How does that work???? He didnt do **** to earn it according to what your saying......RIGHT:huh

Fu** the payment, it has to be who is the best fighter at 160. Both Pavlik and Abraham have earned enough to make the fight...
