Good points, and that's before the height and reach. Pav LOVES guys to go to the ropes....AA volunteers for 2:45 of most rounds...

Its a shame we never got to see this fight back then.

No one gets knocked out in this fight.

I see Pavlik outboxing Abraham in the first half of the fight without too much trouble.

Abraham starts to pick it up in the second half and trys to iniate a slugfest with Kelly.

    Things get interesting.

Both fighters would have their moments, but no one gets hurt or stunned.

I feel Kelly wins a competitive decision 8-4

If the fight happened in Germany Abraham escapes with a draw.

Pavlik wins this easily. Pavlik pressure would win him the fight. Pavlik by UD/late TKO.

Pavlik is too long and too good of a boxer, he TKOs AA late.

:thumbsup Exactly, AA's style is great for Pavlik. According to the haters on ESB Pavlik loses to anyone who comes at him, moves laterally, or makes Pavlik come after them

Abraham fought a guy who was stylistically similar to Pavlik. The big difference is that KP was a world class middleweight with a KO ratio over 85%. Lujaun Simon was a club fighter with a KO ratio around 50% against inferior competition. Simon won 4 or 5 rounds, and made AA look really bad at times. Do the math.

I'm perplexed by the fact that people still don't get it with Abraham. Sauerland understood, and that is why he stopped the fight from happening by demanding a $2 million dollar guarantee.

Imagine if that fight would have happened in Germany during that time period...

    Fine German Beer KO Pavlik.

Pavlik in similar fashion to Froch

Abraham gives up so many rounds on inactivity

if Gevor was schooling him im sure Kelly would too

I always said that I felt Abraham was overated and that his punch is overated. I said this before AA was defeated and noted he couldnt KO former KOd WWs. Abraham is a lazy fighter and I think Pavlik would do a bit much for Abraham.
Still I doubt Pavlik would travel to fight Abraham, so the fight would have to be in America which would give Pavlik an advantage of sorts.
I think Pavlik would win on points and quite clearly in a sort of 116-112 score

:lol:Lol man. Martinez were to brought for a cannon fodder for Pavlik. Pavlik was supposed to KO Martinez to make Williams look bad. I think that was the deal:yep

Pavlik was also meant to be the man putting b-Hop away and shut the old man for good.:yep

    Pavlik was exposed.
