In general I mainly take issue with the fact that you havent presented any sort of comparison or example instead you bash me and say in short that AA's power would win the day nothing else stylewise, comparisons of anything similar that either fighter has faced, but thats what I've done....I thought thats why were here, in part......so if anything don't bash me for my point of view help me understand yours

    Cheers:good

No need for anger bro. This is just a discussion forum and thats what we´re doing. Nothing more nothing less. You think Pavlik will crush Abraham I doubt that. :yep

Not sure I know how to answer that osh...I don't think it's something really measured...you either have it or you don't....however when you have 2 warriors fighting eachother who have been tested, tried and proven it usually becomes a matter of skill that seperates 2 warriors in battle

I was just asking because you said:

Abraham fought 8 rounds with a broken jaw that show's a massive amount of "heart". The most "heart" Pavlik has had to show is getting up after being KD in Taylor 1.

Loads of boxers get KD and get up

Not many get their jaw's broken fight on for 8 rounds.

Your statment just does not make sense....

Interesting statement Osh as one would argue that Abraham was FORCED to continue......If we can remember correctly Abraham was asked if he could continue and he said "No" so you pose a silly argument to one of my less thought out statements on this thread but thank you for exposing me...your my new hero:good

I was mainly making light of Pavliks determination to get off the canvas against Taylor, dominate the fight, and finish the champion

Try not to be so bitter. Forced to continue....:nut

Also try to take a step back from what you are saying and look at it once in a while. It comes across as nuthuggery of the highest order.

Also how many fights have you picked right recently?

    :smoke

Thanks for the advice....so you're denying that when AA was asked if he could continue he said "NO"???

I'm sorry osh were just abit different when making an assessment I try to factor in all the tangibles when done I make a pick....I don't stay latched on the fence taking both sides or none at all....in some cases thats the best choice but in my humble opinion not in this fight...in my opinion it's not close enough to stay "undecided"....again I've made comparisons that have caught the eyes of a few in understanding my point of view, it doesnt mean they agree with me its just a common understanding and hardly nuthuggery

Most of my picks recently have been correct, no I'm not perfect I've been wrong lately...I suppose you're never wrong? It must be awesome to have such an aura of righteousness:yep

When Abraham was asked if he would continue he said no because they wanted to go to the scorecards where he thought he would be in front. But the IBF (?) official prevented that. With knowing that he would loose the fight he kept on fighting. ;)

I am indeed not, that is being coerced into continuing. Try to explain to me how fighting on with a broken jaw for whatever reason is not showing more heart than getting up after a KD....?

You do not take into account the fact that Pavliks weakness's (leaky defence, can be hurt) play into Abraham's strengths (Counter puncher, MASSIVE 1 punch KO power).

Basically what makes you a nuthuger is the fact that you do not take into account the weaknesses of your fighter and how they match up to the strengths of his opponent.

For example: Abraham would find it damn near impossible to beat Pavlik on points due to

Its a very simple question "Arthur, can you continue?" Arthur says "No" do you honestly think with his jaw broken and effectively being outworked in the first few rounds that he was thinking about scorecards????
I highly doubt it....he did'nt want to continue and I think we all can understand why...so again it goes to the simple question and simple answer....Arthur needed to be motivated to continue:deal otherwise it was over and you know it

I don´t think he was really outworked in the first rounds of the first fight. He punched less but more effective...

Anyway. I think we´re loosing the main point and that is Pavlik vs. Abraham. Don´t get lost in details ;)

interesting how you make Abraham out to be a fighter with NO vulnerabilities and yet Pavlik may as well be a cabdriver in your eyes

I am not "never wrong"

    What?

Did I not just say Abraham has poor workrate? :nut Did I not just say that it would be near impossible for Abraham to win a descsion?

    Can you not read?
