Good one Benny...although it's mind boggling that so many people don't get my point - can't put 2 ad 2 together, it's time to delete this thread. Perhaps the allegory and tounge in cheek nature of the thread is a bit much...

For starters, every undefeated fighter out there. Ricky Hatton would be another one. Add Andre Dirrell to the list as well. Hell, even Arreola belongs on that list as he was the underdog against Adamek and Vitali. Tony Thompson is another guy. I'm sure we could come up with a big list if we wanted to.

What exactly is your point? It seemed that you were actually trying to elevate Pac by stating he was won everytime he was supposed to , and slated Arreola for not doing so. However, Arreola has never lost as the favorite, Pacquiao has lost when he was the favorite.

No, no no...my point is that some guys who have potential to be special have FAILED when their moment to shine came. As of the last 4 years or so, Pacquiao HASN'T.

Bottom line is, Pacquaio has shown his quality by stepping up in BIG FIGHTS.

Pavlik and Arreola, while they have their chances, has failed to show up their A games, even if they were the bigger guys in their last fights.

Arreola and Pavlik never had the potential to be special. Neither one of them were good enough. I don't see how either one of them losing to guys who are clearly superior to them poves that Pacquiao is special.

Just watched a sunday after noon of baseball games, and the mediocrity of these hitters just reminded me how truly something special Barry Bonds was!:nut

You are severely misguided in your rant when you say that Pavlik shouldn't have lost to Sergio. Sergio is a monster, and Bernard is like Satan himself in the ring. Since Pac's rise up in weight, he has not taken on anyone with 1/10 of the slickness, style, ring-smarts, and mental toughness of either of these guys.
