We all know Kelly is slated to fight Taylor next in a fight he may very well win even more decively than the first time around. Assuming he wins, how will he do against all the top competition at middle, supermiddle or light heavyweight?

I have Pavlik to beat any middleweight except Taylor if he brings his A game. Since he has dropped Stewart, it could be very likely he will be beaten again by Pavlik, so how does he do against Kessler, Calzaghe, Hopkins, Dawson?

    Your opinions please.

I see him beating hopkins, I haven't watched enough of Dawson to give an opinion but I heard he's pretty slick so i'd have my reservation also giving the fact that he is 2 divions higher than Pavlik. As for Calzaghe it really depends on how well Pavlik can take a Calzaghe (or multiple) slap, The big difference between Kessler and Pavlik is Pavlik won't fight tentatively (scared) and will apply pressure even if he thinks he is losing unlike Kessler, from what I can see Pavliks power is on par or greater than Kesslers even if his boxing abilities aren't, it'll either be Calzaghe totally outclassing Pavlik or Calzaghe being overwhelmed and destroyed by a powerful pressure fighter who isn't intimidated by the Calzaghe enigma... and to once again enforce the papers, scissors, rocks reality of boxing I think Kesslers solid mix of skill and power outdoes Pavlik, Pavlik's middleweight size and power become neglibile against Kessler and Kesslers very solid, stand up, toe to toe style and nice mix of skill speed and super middleweight stopping power finally bring Pavlik undone.

Pavlik can be competitive with anyone. But he should avoid Dawson.
