Become an alcoholic and tell me that it does not effect your athleticism. After getting beat twice by Pavlik, Taylor was still more then Froch could handle.
Show me where did I say it hadn't affected his athleticism ... More than he could handle you say ? That's probably why he Knocked him out I guess. You guys are even more pathetic than Butards before the Froch fight. atsch
He could probably win a vacant title in America against a lesser known/rated SMW. I doubt he would win in Europe. American based and Canadian based SMWs seem to crumble when in big SMW fights in Europe. I would like to see Pavlik do well, he has a great chin and seems to hang in there when the going gets tough. I would like to see him in a tough SMW fight first, maybe against someone who would be all wrong for him like Dirrell. If Pavlik could win that, it would raise him up in peoples eyes I think
You asked when he was at his peak. And said he only beat Jermain Taylor and that the other times he stepped up he was schooled. Its well known that Pavlik was a heavy drinker after the Taylor fight. Jack Loew said the training camps were total jokes after he won the championship.
If Abraham beats Stieglitz, make the fight Pavlik vs. Abraham I would favour Pavlik with his better range and workrate but I'm hoping that Abraham is willing to give it a hard try to squeeze out a last good performance and beat Pavlik. Waited for this fight since both campaigned at middleweight.
Froch KTFO Taylor in the 12th as you well know.Taylor won the first 5 rounds (3rd was a 10-8 after the flash KD).He did not school Froch, nor did he almost stop him. Froch had a bad night and still KO'd Jermain,Pavlik was on ***** street and almost stopped in the 2nd round of the first fight, and a lot of people think Jermain won the 2nd fight. Froch would ****in murder Pavlik.Maybe Pavlik should ask Nard to give him his mojo back.:rofl
Do you think it is a joke? I can't stand it when people like you just laugh at other people's posts without offering an explanation, if you said something to back this up I'd happily take it on board... They are both one-dimensional. When someone offers them foot movement, they have issues. Abraham for me is just extremely basic. He keeps his hands around his head, does not try to move his head and soaks up punishment. As his hands are in such an obvious position any elite boxer can see where his punches come from and can counter/avoid where necessary. Pavlik's jab is stronger and I think he throws a better variation of punches, which again is not saying much. Your thoughts? Or do you just want to have another giggle?
He was losing the fight and with seconds left knocked out Taylor. Kelly out boxed Taylor both times and laid down a blue print for Froch and Froch still got out boxed. I like Froch and wish there were more boxers that were warriors like he is. I was just asked when Pavlik was peak and told that the only good boxer he beat was Taylor. I said in an early post that Pavlik can be even better then he was at his peak.
At least make him travel to Germany to fight AA since they had so much talkin while they were undefeated MW Champs and that would/will surely be for the WBO SMW title.
