It's been happening since the Hoppkins fight in 2008. When's he going to make his move and come back stronger?

He is working towards a comeback as we speak. He said its not about the money anymore he will fight for ten thousand dollers. Those sound like fighting words to me.

Pavlik is only 29 been the champ, been up and down, in and out of rehab, gone heals with atgs. Pavlik has a good six years left in him and he already has been around the block about 300 times. He is going to be a force to be reckoned with for anyone at 168 now that he is getting his act together. Its just going to take a year to shake the rust off.

Fine. Point me to a pre-fight analysis where you predict Pavlik would be up in the fight until getting cut and I'll believe you know what you are talking about.

I'll happily point you to one where I said Martinez would be too fast, too unorthodox, too slick and Pavlik would be too one dimensional? Will that do?

Cuts don't come out of thin air. When Martinez was busy, he peppered Pavlik's face.

Pavlik said, "I wanna quit", Lowe then talked him off the edge. I forget which round after, maybe the 9th or tenth. I saw it and heard it on the video, replayed it several times to confirm, but it's been about a year since I watched it. I am a fan of Pav., but the truth is the truth.

Sure, since that isn't really accurate. If it were true Kelly would not have been up on the cards going into the 9th.

I hope you are right, but things keep happening. It was only a short time ago that he cancelled that last fight over money. I need more than the latest sound bite for proof.

No he did not say that at all, you can't even hear what he says. Jack Lowe just said " Don't say that." could have been all sorts of different things Pavlik could have said to make Lowe say that.

Interesting. That was the exchange I was talking about. It sounds to me like he said "I wanna quit" and I can't think of what else Lowe's response of "Don't say that" would be in reference to.
