I've posted before that after reading an interview with Kelly shortly after the fsck up that he seemed to realize he made a mistake. This isn't a new revelation if you were paying attention. For those that think Arum is some sort of punisher, think again. He still wants to make top dollar off of Kelly. There will be some payback but the rift between Donaire and Top Rank was down right ugly. Look at what Arum said about Donaire's wife ffs.

I was shocked Pavlik ****ed over his own fans. That was unacceptable.

Kelly has plenty of time if he wants to get serious about this. I hope the time off did him well. It is a tough sport and a nice long rest may have been a good thing. Time will tell.

Same thing I was thinking.. someone finally broke it down to him, or **** JUST sunk in when he realized he wasn't generating income at expensive ass Disney World.

Arum will... Like the article said they would have probably lost money on the Pavlik comeback fight already, him walking away pissed off Arum for sure.

The telling part of this is the invitation to come to Las Vegas and have a face to face. I was in the repair business for a long time. A manufactures rep for over 20. People yell and scream on the phone and say all sorts of nasty ****. Even once you get there you let them get it off their chest. Then, after that, you are friends. There is a reason they want a face to face with Kelly. They want this to work and they know that person to person is the best way to do this. Ya'll sit at your keyboard and make up any **** ya want if that makes ya feel better and more important like ya really know something. My guess is that my guess is better than your guess on this. :D

I hope he's finally reached clarity from his disease. I'd like to see him make a successful comeback. But I'd put him on the B-circuit for a while. Get him fights with guys like Don George, Aaron Pryor Jr, Ornelas. If he gets back to good form, he'd give us some great fights with Froch and Kessler.

If they get kelly 4 fights a year on undercards and maybe a main event of FNF it would keep him in the Gym and away from the booze! He said he is ready to go train somewhere else other than Y-town! Thats a good Start!

Are you that insecure about Pavlik that you repeatedly deflect the issue?

I can understand Haye pulling out of the Wlad fight. Anyone defending Pavlik, if he wasn't drinking, is crazy.

Insight is not a trait you harbor at all.

I think he's done, but if he can turn it around it will make one hell of a comeback story.
