    So, what's your point?

Even Kelly's most ardent fans are skeptical about a come back, but the boxing world sure as **** doesn't call it a come back when a guy has been on top all along. Kind of a no-brainer really.

Yeah, I think so too. Loew seems like an absolutely terrible trainer, who was fortunate to be in a position to teach a very good fighter from a young age. Any trainer could have taken Pavlik and he'd have gone far, and even though he's had a good career, I feel he could have done much more.

Early Pavlik could have been moulded into a Monzon-type, calculating, methodical, cold ******* but instead, he has become limited at the world stage and he has poor defence. Whilst Loew may have done his job as a trainer and mentor to a young kid, he completely failed as a trainer for a potential world champion and continued to do so through Pavlik's reign. Pavlik was a beast despite Loew and not because of him.

Honestly though, I think it's too late. Pavlik will never amount of what he could have at the start of his career and it's a shame. He could have been a genuinely great fighter but unless a miracle happens, he'll go down as an afterthought in the divisions history, lurking around the top 20 spot. He could have been a top 10 all-time middleweight.

I can dig your thought!:good This is what i think Pavlik Learned from Jack!

    1. Nice Stiff JAb
    2. Powerful 1-2
    3. Powerful 3-2
    4. Strength (Old school style)
    5. Under-rated Defense

Kelly Has a Chin, and heart in the ring! That cant be taught!

His footwork isnt great, Head movement isnt great. Is blocking in under-rated because he deflects a lot of shots so they dont land clean! He controls the ring, and is good at cutting off the ring.

Kelly has a Decent Uppercut with both hands.

Richardson would make him a winner RIGHT NOW. Even if B-Hop came to his camp, that would help BIG TIME!

i hope the best! Keep Jack along as a Mentor/ asst.Trainer/manager for loyalty sake. Hire Richardson, Or a Mayweather!

First of all he needs a good nutritionist to be at his physical peak the Duran\Mayorga approach isnt helping. He needs to be away from distractions he has to sacrifice. He never took Bhops offer to learn from the best.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think a presence like Loew's is good for a fighter but to have him as your sole trainer going into to fights with guys like Hopkins and Martinez? That's simply not good enough.

Actually though, if Loew wanted to do the right thing, he'd quit himself. He shouldn't need to be pushed by anyone. He must be able to see that Pavlik could be a lot more than he is and yet he's happy to collect the big cheques. I think he should say "I've got you as far as I can, now go and improve" but I don't think his ego would allow for that to happen.

The only way Pavlik can make a successful comeback is without Loew.

Kelly needs to go back to the old way he use to fight. Miranda,Zertuche... etc. Balls to the wall, 100 + punches per round. He's got the heart, chin and always in top condition. Hope he can pull it together. Defiitely, needs to get out of Y-Town to train. He still can do some damage if his head is together.

Kinda tough on the body though. Some better defense wouldn't hurt.
