I think you're right, and I also think it's sad that he wouldn't. He must realise that for Pavlik to fulfill his potential, he isn't capable of helping him reach that high level.

Loew is a good trainer for a certain level but that level is far below Pavlik's.

Thats the only way we fight from Y- Town... Herm. You know that. Name any fighter from here that has defense.. Kelly has slightly improved with his head movement, don't think much will change.. Agree..??

dude just fight some club fighters and get your confidence back. Kelly just do it for the love of the sport man and get your self-respect back, dont worry about the money since allegedly you arent in financial troubles.

I do not agree. He and Jack have been a team the whole way (boxing wise) and Kelly was just fine until he had his partying problems...unless in all honesty, we can blame that on Jack too.

Would any other trainer have kept him from goin' to the party scene once he attained all that money he'd never had?? I don't think so.

Any ways, come on Kelly...got damn it.

Serious question. What is your level of expertise on/in the fight game to judge Jack Lowe's training methods? I have LONG urged people to get a copy of the Lyell/Duddy fight. The announcers were close to the corner and you could here pretty much every instruction Jack gave to Lyell. Not once will you here 'double jab'. Different fighter, different opponent, different fight plan. Same with Danny Williams who will probably be a belt holder some day. I've laid out this challenge before to various people. It ALWAYS goes ignored. I wonder why? :think

Never care to see him fight again.

Hemit, i agree with JACK! Ive been following Kelly since 2004. I have watched every fight! What Jack does with Billy and Dannie is totally different. They are way more Athletic fighters. Read the post of My opinion on what Loew has done for Pavlik and tell me what you think! Jack isnt hating on LOEW, he is saying what alot of people say, the LOEW has done all he can do for Kelly! He needs a "Skillful" trainer like Richardson, Mayweathers, Roach etc...! You know i love you man, No Homo! :good

I don't think so, myself. I believe Kelly not having Jack would be disastrous as well. Look around boxing at fighters who go trainer hopping, and it's hard to find good examples of it working out.

May not hurt to have a specialist of some kind work with Kelly and Jack. I'll bet Kelly would hang em up before he straight up ditch Jack.:deal

Not to mention again the partying that hurt Kelly...Partying Kelly is gonna **** up no matter who the trainer is. And they can only teach him, not get in there and fight for him, know what I'm sayin?

Bingo. What he can do with Pavlik and what he can do with other fighters is two different things. Boo has posted what Nazeem Richardson has said quite a few times. He would make SMALL adjustments to Kelly's game. Would that work? It is all guessing. Bottom line, once the bell rings it is up to the fighter. How many times have you seen fighters flat out ignore what their trainers urge them to do? Either they can't or don't believe it will work.

I'll ask you the same question that has a 100% no answer rate. What is your qualifications to judge Lowe's training methods? I've watched a lot of fights and training videos but wouldn't pretend to try and coach anyone. I'm in no position to be a knowledgeable juddge. The one exception I have is Paul Williams' trainer. Any coach that believes you learn something and you know it and don't have to train at it anymore is a total farce of a coach. I heard an interview with one of the worlds top piano players say she does scales every day.

Do you know why most team coaches get fired? More often than not the team owner knows it isn't the coaches fault that they had a losing season but he has to do something to please the fans and he can't fire the whole freaking team. I see the same mentality at work here.
