Or vareity. Pavlik is ambidextrous. A natural lefty fighting righty. Think about the things he can do with the control he has with both fists?

Pavliks got power, so of course hes got a punchers chance, but lauding his boxing skills to high heaven is a little ridiculous, granted hes on a streak right now, but c'mon!

    .
    Calzaghe/Kessler punch stats
    Kessler-173 of 585
    Pavlik-Taylor punch stats
Pavlik-180 of 460, if thef ight were to keep going Pavlik would have surpassed him in the 9th, easily.

Joe takes it for me. Kessler served up two of the nastiest uppercuts I've seen in a while, Joe took them, didn't panic and changed his plan completely next round. Joe's ability to mutate into a different style would mess Pav's head up. The other thing is that Joe has the ability and speed to throw in several relatively hard shots, then completely tangle/negate his opponent's armoury.

Joe UD (and quote a one-sided UD at that).

This would probably be a worse beatdown than the Lacy fight.

    Calzaghe TKO 8

Pavlik is a very powerful fighter who just bulldozed Taylor and Miranda.

    . . . but ELITE ? . . . :huh :think

I do believe Pavlik will win . . . but he's not an elite yet. :yep

That part's funny. (Joe is undefeated, so it would be the ONLY beating.)

And after Pavlik, he would remain so. Possible outcome: wide UD, if Pavlik was able to hang in for 12.

More likely, Pavlik's corner throws in the towel.

    Pavlik was tailor-made for Joe.

    Kessler would also beat Pavlik.

I would like to see the Taylor/Pavlik winner fight Joe next as that would be a competitive bout and worth watching. Calzaghe/BHop would be a mite one-sided.

I would feel very sorry for Pavlik, I like the guy.

Kelly would have the same look on his face that Lacy and Kessler had after a couple of rounds, that slightly confused look as they walk back to their stools that says

'****! this guy is really good, whaddamIgonnado?'
