    Lets not talk about where he needs to go for ATG status, the crystal ball remains foggy at the moment. What I know he can do, is dominate the middleweight division and reign supreme by KTFOing Arthur Abraham

    No way, he has done next to nothing for an ATG status.
    A "good fighter" status, MAYBE after those fights!

    Bute won't stop Andrade in a million lightyears. It took him 10 to take out old ass Joppy, former middleweight, what is he 78 now? It took him 11 to take out glass jaw Berrio. He went 12 with Tatevosyan, Carl Froch starched him in quick time

    He has good accumulative power, but you need to be getting into the one punch range to stop Andrade I think

    Wright, Jones, Trinidad or DLH? What? Wins over those guys wouldn't do anything for his legacy at this point. They were all great, but they're all far past their prime. He needs to take on the most dangerous opposition he can, and right now none of those guys are dangerous.

    He's quite possibly the hottest "new guy on the block" with Cotto and some others.. he's most definitely a possible future ATG.

    To me ATG status should be reserved for a very few "super-elite" fighters. Robinson, Ali, Arguello, Hearns, Duran, et. It's WAY to early in Pavlik's career to speculate about his status at the end of his career.

    That is really misleading assuming that both Morales, Barrera and PAC are on people ATG list and they still keep fighting. So from this point of view it just takes a few good scraps for exciting fighter to eneter ATG list.

    There is no need to become dominant champion for a long time (PAC isn't) or beat other ATG fighters while they are in their primes (PAC didn't) . I personally think if Pavlik unify division by beating Abraham, then beat Calzaghe (the current Ring champion at MW and LHW) it will be enough for HOF status. He is capable to do this.

    If he beat another HOF/ATG fighter like Jones or Wright even if they are past their primes there will be no excuses to put him in the ATG list even if his careeer is still rolling.

    Thats why I think beating Calzaghe and Abraham is HOF worthy but he need someone else .... ATG/HOF type of fighter no matter if in prime or not to enetr ATG list.
