pavlik beats calzaghe, heres why

Most of Joes credit should go to Frank Warren..He's the man whos hyped him for quite awhile..In his time as Champ he's beaten 2 maybe 3 top form, quality opponents...WOW:happy Pavlik accomplished this feat in 07 alone and while Im at it Miranda or Taylor would put Joe on the floor..So thank you Frank Warren for working your craft amongst the simpleminded Brits whose only REAL fighter is David Haye..Joe is a slapper...Kahn is a joke...and Hatton is a wrestler...oddly enough Haye has the least support from his countrymen..at least on here....****ing disgraceatsch

 

I'll say it again.

Pavlik will be hard pressed winning a title at 168.

Not only does Kessler and Calzaghe beat him (quite easilky I might add) I'd tip Mundine to outpoint him as well. Mundine's defence is much superior to Taylor's, and I think he'd frustrate Pavlik on his way to a points win.

Bute would be Pavlik's best shot at a title at 168. Not sure if Pavlik could beat him either.

To be fair Pavlik would have a slight chance because Joe isn't getting any younger and Pavlik is about to hit his prime.
A prime, focussed Calzaghe however is in a different league. Pavlik is very solid and powerful with a great attitude but too slow and predictable. He'd be outmanouvered,outworked and beaten up.
Should beat Taylor or Abraham though.

 

zerdouche, 'swiss cheese' miranda and taylor all get chin checked by robin reid and KTFO, what calzaghe would do to them would qualify him for time inside. you gloss over joe's resume, don't recognize many of the name because the 168 division isn't that publicised in america and assume that most of those guys are bums.

if you can't appreciate calzaghe's skill level and overall ability then i suggest you go and find a new sport to watch instead of ragging on a guy in truth you know **** all about. tell me, which round did you predict lacy would have him out in?

btw, haye is a hell of a lot more popular amongst british boxing fans than khan, khan is one of the most criticised fighters on the board.

 

Calzaghe could win this fight easily with one hand.. literally 1 hand. With two, he knocks Pavlik out in 4. The way many Americans underrate Calzaghe is beyond ridiculous. I'm beginning to think realizm is just a troll, nobody can watch boxing semi-often and believe the **** he does.
