    nice little chin theory that.

by the way, pavlik has been down more often than calzaghe in a shorter career.

calzaghe has also never been hurt to the extent of pavlik-taylor I, round 2.

using your shitty theory calzaghe has the better chin.

I think Pav gets him by the 6th round. Slappy was able to handle over-rated Kessler's bombs, but Pav will find the target and crush Calzag.
Taylor may be able to beat Calzag as well.

Wow you totally changed my mind Plug but dare to think about how the knockdowns happened.....
Pavlik clowns Taylor by dropping his hands and sticking his tounge out, gets caught and takes 3 or 4 solid power punching hooks to the face before going down for 2 seconds

Joe is on the attack, in to close(not using a jab to find his way in) just wide open, gets tagged and dropped

so if Pavliks KD was a result of him being silly and Joes KD was just a result of him fighting his fight(not clowning)

This doesnt inspire any ideas as to how this fight would go down for you?

Plug I'm not trying to trash Joe just making an easy judgement based on their most recent performances
    Cheers

h.. the correct thread on just how much trouble Pavlik will provide Joey at 168

Pavlik has much heavier hands than Kessler with far more punch variety

Taylor has twice the power of JC

Another life and death struggle for JC

No JC blowout, ZERO chance of a JC stoppage

Pavlik almost got splattered all over the ring against Taylor in 2 rounds. But to his credit, he came back to win. He also won a much closer rematch.

However, he is also a pretty one dimensional fighter who, like i've said, does the simple things extremely effectively. He also operates at middleweight.

Yet some of you think he KO's a guy in Calzaghe (who has never been beaten nevermind KO'd understand), and who is the man at SMW and LHW?

On top of which, some of you think Taylor beats him too?

I'm guessing some of you don't watch fights.

you fail to mention that he stumbled all over the ring like a ****ing drunk when the fight resumed, still, don't want to let silly little facts get in the way of your arguement. :good

can you see pavlik being that clever and seeing those little openings? seriously.

joe was too casual at the beginning of the fight, but never underestimate his use of the jab, he jabbed mikkel kessler silly, a part of the battle that most thought kessler would win.

so pavlik makes silly mistakes in the ring, i'm sure enzo will make sure to note that.

not really, that one knockdown (hops-zag) is not going to influence my mind on this fight should it happen.

    Ask Lacy.

Why have better boxers than Pavlik failed to capitalise on this??

I like Pavlik as a person and as a boxer but he ain't anything special.

You and Realjizm are seriously deluded. I think Pavlik has a chance but your claims are OTT.

Come one people, u dont have to be from the UK to admit Calzaghe is a great fighter and would probably beat Kelly Pavlik even at 35 :patsch
