He has whether I have bookmarked them for easy reference or not. Like I told Newb, I'm not doing his homework on the obvious. He has said Kelly Pavlik is the ONLY fighter he would return to 168 for. That is an easy enough thread for Newb to search and find if he wasn't so lazy. In boxing that is 'calling out'. Joe said he would come back down to 168 to fight Pavlik. Saying you want to fight some one IS a call out. If he doesn't now, then he has backed down. Pure and simple.

it was illuminating that Locket talked about Pav's speed (couldn't see the punches coming) especially considering who Locket sparred with prior to the fight.

You are a cretin. Pavlik was asked who he wanted to fight next last night. He did not definitively state he wanted Calzaghe.

Therefore, by your "logic", Pavlik is a ducking *****.

I was able to get a good one liner off on this one in another thread. Someone posted that Lockett had compared JC to a welter weight. I knew he meant in terms of speed, but I couldn't let it pass.

Pavlik still has to be diplomatic on national tv. I know this is beyond your capabablity, but do a search or go back just a few days to the Pavlik trainer thread. In that interview, when asked who he wants to fight, Kelly responds with JC without thought or hesitation.

Dude. If you don't even attempt to be civil you will earn the dubious distinction of being the first on my ignore list. This stuff has been posted and debated for over a year on this board. Pretend it didn't happen if you must, but be civil about it.

Joe Calzaghe may be the best fighter in the world. he can do many things, but why in gods name would you take a guy who is a southpaw, feints, never fights in straight lines, rarely throws a standard 1-2, to prepare for Kelly Pavlik. if that was Enzo Cal's plan to use his son as a sparring partner, then it really makes you appreciate the in-fight adjustments and accomplishments of Joe Calzaghe much more, because that makes no sense.
