    I noticed that nearly every British poster on this thread picked deGale over Pavlik.

    It's a stupid idea, and shows **** poor promotional instincts, to put a green prospect in the ring with a guy like Kelly Pavlik, and I wonder if our British friends are as bold as they were before the Klitscho/Haye fiasco?

    As sluggish as Pavlik looked against Lopez, he would still destroy DeGale... He'll walknhim down & break his heart..

    I understand why people are picking DeGale... Pavlik is robotic & plods forward so people immediately assume he's made for a back foot counter puncher like DeGale.,

    If Pavlik isn't completely shot & still has the legs, DeGale is getting smoked..

    I'd like to see this fight though.

    It's hard to judge where Pavlik is atm because in his recent fights he's either lost to top p4p guys or beaten bums. There's no middle ground to judge it from. I think someone like Andrade would be good for him, he knocked Bute out and is a solid C+ level fighter.

    TV interview just now and Pavlik said that Bute is just about a done deal for November, probably pending both guys winning, and the announcer threw in that it would most likely be in Montreal. So, we won't get to see THIS exciting match up anytime soon anyhow.

    Pavlik will beat his tune up. cant wait to see what he has against a better fighter though.
