Pavlik deserves a rematch with Hopkins

I agree, I also think Calzaghe should still give Pavlik a fight even though he lost to Hopkins, because he definitely could beat Hopkins in a rematch.

 

if this fight had been competitive then a rematch could be in order. hopkins dominated this fight. the way calzhaghe dominated lacy the way hops dominated tito and the way wright dominated tito. in all those cases a rematch would be ridiculous. no way no how. he can earn one but by then hops should retire. he still has it and should retire before he doesnt.

that was the teacher vs the student and bhop took him to school.kelly did not have a bad night, he tryed to do what he did to every other fighter he fought.the problem is thats style does not work on a master boxer like hopkins.

boxing is more then just throwing punches in bunches, its more mental the physical.bhop understands boxing, even thought many dont like his style but i have been a fan for yrs now.

boxing is about the art of hitting and not getting hit, the sweet science.not the bar room brawls people have grown to love so much.im talking fients,foot movement,angles you know the little **** you probably think aint worth damn.

i always say a great boxer will beat a great slugger anyday, every now and then you have great brawlers who beat good boxers but not great.

 

news just in that Pavlik was suffering from bronchitis - Hopkins is now obliged to grant Pavlik a rematch, it's only right.

 

Lacy should get a rematch against Calzaghe too.

He was suffering from butterfies and stage fright that night.




Come to think of it, Michael Spinks deserves another shot at Iron Mike.
