The only time that it would be appropriate for Pavlik to share the same ring again with Hopkins would be under his tutor ledge as his trainee. B-Hop schooled him twice, once with the beating he gave him and the other with a quick post fight lecture. There's no way he deserves a rematch and there's no way he wins one if he got the opportunity. Now in a different thread I half jokingly pointed out that Hopkins would make a great trainer with his experience and resume. It's been mentioned on several occasions in this forum that Pav should consider changing trainers. Who knows maybe one day Bernard will be the one to guild Pavlik to a similar career as his own. I think it would be a great fit for both guys.
Wake up. Hopkins couldnt have beat him anymore decisively without KOing him, the best Pavlik could do is lose closer on pts... I knew Hopkins was too skillfull for him beforehand & I dont see the skill gap being closed anywhere near enough for a Pavlik victory if they fought again. Im sorry if you bought into all the hype & you really really wanted KP to win but Hopkins showed you reality & even that still hasnt made you realistic. Botswana :thumbsup
Come on guys. Please take this thread more seriously. It's not like I said that Pavlik is beating Arthur Abraham. I just think that at 43, Hopkins might be vulnerable. Look at RJJ and Tarver where Tarver lost the first fight, but KO'ed RJJ in the second and won a UD in the third.
