No, he wouldn't. Pavlik wouldn't even beat the Hopkins of tonight.

I would just like to add that the earth is round, not flat - and revoles around the sun, not vice-versa.

Thread closed...you basically summed it up.

    Hopkins beats Pavlik, too.

Calzaghe would school Pavlik like he did Lacy. I really hope this fight happens, so we can hear even more desperate excuses attempting to explain why Calzaghe is no good

I think Pavlik's style plays right into Calzaghe's.

****ing fight wasn't even close, you said you had it 116-111, that's not close, people are acting like Hopkins was on the end of a controversial loss here.

Having it an SD was absurd to me.

Nah, clear UD for Calzaghe. No way did Hopkins win that fight, even if he did perform better than many expected.

agree i had it 9-3. it was not a split by any means. Joe controlled after the knockdown and found good range with the jab and landed some textbook straight lefts. Joe was to quick and too savvy. Joe has a vastly overlooked jab it really let him get comfortable and set a pace he wanted. 116- 111 9-3 or i could see 9-2-1. Pavlik loses probably by close to the same score. :smoke
