Pavlik ducked WINKY for Williams

    Ok ok he didnt DUCK Winky (the term DUCK in the sport of boxing is really thrown around too much)....but my question is this.....


    If Pavlik is the 2nd coming of christ in the sport of boxing why would they settle for him defending his title VS WW in Paul Williams as opposed to a REAL MW like Winky Wright?

    So Arum low balls Wright then turns around and makes a fight with Williams?:huh You mean to tell me that Arum could offer "8 Million" to Mayweather to fight Margarito:huh , but could only offer Winky 1 million to fight Pavlik? Arum is full of it:good ...Arum has stated over the past 4 months that he would NEVER put Pavlik in with Winky because he says "Winky is boring" well Mr Arum boxing is not ""

    "" It is BOXING, the object is to hit & not get hit all while attempting to score points. Anyone with any boxing sense knows Winky is a BIG name in the sport and a fight VS him would generate more PPV buys and more revenue for Top Rank & HBO. Arum is fooling the public by throwing Pavlik in with guys he wont have any problems knocking out. :patsch

    Do you honestly think Pavliks scared of Winky Wright? Blame Winky for overestimating his drawing power, and blame Arum for not going after Abraham, Sturm or at least a top contender at 160.

    I never said Pavlik was scared...I said Arum was scared to put his fighter in with someone who can actually BOX. I dont believe any fighter is scared of another fighter. Thats like saying Kobe is SCARED to play Basketball against Lebron. This is what they do eat, sleep, **** & breathe....BOXING. Scared is not an option

    and do you think Pavlik would beat Winky?

    Winky Wright hasn't won a fight in over a year and half and hasn't been in an entertaining fight in over three. What is the draw here? He should feel lucky to land a match with a top 5 fighter right now.

    A guy from Ytown that seems to have an ear in the Pavlik camp posted Winky was offered $1.33 mill. I think this guy is in a position to know.

    Winky is the most boring fighter on the planet. If I was Pavlik I would fight Williams. Wink has no fans.

    Williams is far more entertaining and is just starting to get popular. Pavlik and Williams is a far better fight. A Winky fight is a good cure for insomnia.
