Rafeal's weekend up date makes a Pavlik appearance on the Pac/Margo card look extremely likely. I'm hoping KP fights David Lopez. These days I consider David "The Destroyer" Lopez a top 5 middleweight. Over tha past 7 years David's only loss came near the end of the 12th round of a freaking war with peak Zuniga, but Zuniga was actually the first man to hit the canvass. David has fought all the way up to cruiserweight, so I'm sure he would jump on the chance to fight Pavlik at 164. Trust me! This is a very good fight.

David is as Mexican as Mexican gets, and the fight would be in Arlington Texas with Margarito in the main event. In addition, Lopez is a 6' 1" southpaw. Do the math on those factoids!

Here's Lopez snatching Jerson Ravelo's zero away from him on FNF!

Lopez would be an ideal fighter for Pavlik to comeback with. He is definitely better than his record suggests, but to call him a top 5 middleweight is stetching it a tad or ten.

Peter and his promoter are the only people talking about that. Lopz would smack the crap out of Manfredo.

Wright even right now would embarrass Lopez. Why don't Pavlik just fight Wright?

My interest in Pavlik completely deflated after his terrible 2008. I can't get excited for any of his fights anymore, not even a Martinez or Williams fight, really. I know he's trying hard and he really wants to be at his best, but his career has really hit a brick wall.

You're underrating Lopez(or overrating Winky). Wright is past his prime and has done nothing in over 3 year. Perfect 'big' name win for Lopez right now.

I'm not sure who is handling Lopez's career but he is NOT earning his pay.

    Nice twat by the way.

Of course the pavlik fans want david lopez because the man has no footwork or power and will be in front of pavlik all night long (or as long as his chin stands up) so pavlik can get his straight one twos off.
    Easy work for pavlik.

Exactly, but he just beat the crap out of Saul Roman last Saturday night. Roman is past it, but he still only loses to good fighters.
