Andrade would take on Ricardo Mayorga in a duel outside of a Nicaraguan Bar if there was a paycheck involved
Right now somebody is spewin' some bull****. Froch cannot fight Pavlik on October 3rd, and fight Dirrel on October 10th. Now far be it from me to intentionally start some **** on ESB, but . . . . . the way Froch eats jabs, left hooks, and Right hands, if he fights KP it'll be 8 or 9 months before he fights again!
:rofl:rofl Well it's an interesting situation to say the least. With Pavlik fans openly upset over a Mora clash, It would be risky bidness to tease a Froch fight and deliver something else. I may not always agree with some of the more ARDENT Pavlik fans on here but no fan base gets jerked around more than KP's.
Now you know I threw that last bit in there just to push some buttons, but so far, no takers. My real point was that, obviously, somebody is dead wrong about what's going on with Froch.
Vindy.Com posted another article about an hour ago. It really looks like the Top Rank twitter page is dead wrong. According to Kelly himself the October 3rd fight will most likely be with Sturm. He thinks the Showtime SMW tourney will encourage HBO to put up some more money. He also said he'd like to fight in Atlantic City, but doubts if Sturm would okay that because of what happened there with Oscar. And, it does not sound like he is thiking about moving up in weight right now. That's okay. I think he should fulfill his goal of unifying the division before he moves up.
Personally, I think that it is stylistically much more interesting than Pavlik/Abraham. I think Sturm loses to both guys, but purely on a style level Sturm is the bigger challenge for KP. Sturm is a mover and a boxer, and has a great jab. Pavlik will have to work is ass off to stay on top of Felix. Abraham would just stand in front of Pavlik and get driven back to the ropes and beat up. I don't get it with HBO though. Their offer of a $2 million purse is an insult to both fighters.
You get dumber every minute. Pavlik; 6' 2 1/2", walks around about 180. Froch; 6' 1", walks around about 172. But ya -- Froch is a huge SMW -- dumb assatsch
Co-sign:deal But I have mixed feelings about that. Pavlik layed out some goals loud and clear when he first became the world champ. He said he wanted to unify the division. I like to see athletes, in any sport, fulfill their goals. To me, that's part of being a championship quality athlete.
How is Dirrell boring? I mean we're all on him over his fight with Curtis Stevens but gents it's been a while. His fights with Hanshaw, Oganov and even that can of epic proportions were at least decent. Lay off the boring stuff fellas.
Ya sure . . . . but Zuniga has known problems with southpaws, and he's getting older, and he got ruined by some freaking titsawhoosey virus, and well . . . I'll think of something, just gimme a minute:deal
